Bro, I can handle the freaking white truck and whatever chaos is coming in the next eps. In fact, I'm kind of…
I’ve been more into cdramas lately and the kdrama schedules mess me up now but my fault for not waiting to binge it all but I hate possible spoilers if I wait though.
the freaking white truck kun appeared again causing disasters, i thought he changed after lovely runner but apparently…
Ending scene and previews have me freaked out!
My thought about kid is Mun Do probably killed the mom because she made demands or he wanted no entanglements. No basis for this statement except his character and it’s a well used trope lol
In the novel he was a widower with 3 concubines, a son (Chen Xuan Qing, completely different personality in novel) and daughter with the first wife, a son with a concubine. But he didn’t choose his wife but they became friends and the concubines weren’t his idea at all. He practiced Buddhism, ate no meat and became celibate after his wife’s death because he just didn’t want to be bothered not because of some great love but he didn’t dispel the rumors that it was. I loved the novel as much as I loved the drama.
Simple question, guys: do you read episode synopses before watching a drama, or do you just watch the episode…
Before, during, after- it all depends but I wish every OTT app has them! I wish Viki and IQIYI did especially. They’re in my top 5 apps I use and they lose my place a lot and having a synopsis would help me know if I’ve seen an episode yet or not. I’ll read them before until I see a spoiler when I don’t want one and I’ll quit reading them then haha There’s some dramas I want spoilers though 🤣🤷🏼♀️
Wow. Jin Goo does some amazing transformations from drama to drama. I did not recognize him here, nor in Moon…
DOTS is where I first noticed him! He also had an incredible 2 episode guest role on My Lovely Journey (eps4&5.) He did so good in Moon River! I really hated his character!
wow actor Jin Goo, what a fantastic actor!!!!! Seems so real in this role. So many little details that make the…
I love him whether playing a good guy or a bad guy. He had an incredible 2 episode guest role on My Lovely Journey (eps4&5.) I first noticed him in DOTS https://mydramalist.com/character/seo-dae-yeong-2
I watched this immediately after Story of Yanxi Palace and I liked it better than I expected after reading comments and reviews. Only 6 episodes long is why I watched. But as a standalone it doesn’t work imo. Too confusing otherwise.
It wasn’t so dreamlike. If she had gotten up to run towards him or something or both had moved towards each other maybe I’d be happier than thinking it was wishful thinking on her part. (I’m not even sad about so called lack of romance as this wasn’t that kind of drama.)

And Chief? Chief of what or is that Chef?
(Remember the drama is very different from the novel.)
I loved the novel as much as I loved the drama.

I just started ep 3 and I hope she had fun playing this role because she’s got me laughing so hard.
