Zhou Yi Ran is why I came to watch this but to me he looks so anorexic as compared to previous dramas. Is it age progression (lost baby fat), makeup, or star diet?
Maybe it’s my fault for rewatching WIFTY first and last episode after this started? Maybe because I’m old and usually like manly men?
Whatever it is took me out of the last scene ep12. Along with “can’t they just talk?” And she’s definitely a shoot first ask questions later kind of person! Flies off the handle when she isn’t aware of all the facts! Impulsive and impatient. Ohhh dramaland loves its misunderstandings 🤣😭

When airing it disrupted my sleep schedule but since completion I feel something is missing since I’m not staying up later waiting on the drop at 11pm

If he loves his wife so much he should’ve protected her from the twins and helped her establish authority.

I can’t believe I’m still watching it. I don’t wait anxiously for new episodes, I don’t think about it after I watch. I’m only watching for the ML.

He’s why I wanted to watch. Yesterday I rewatched the first and last episodes of WIFTY just to see the changes in him.

At some point Fu Hai Lian gifted him him the wrist mala which turned out to be made with slow acting poison. But he had given them to his mother who later died. But in the original timeline that she remembers he wore them and steadily got weaker which lead to his death 5 years after they married.

Don’t remember seeing it addressed in the drama or mentioned in the novel. In the novel he had a wrist mala(Buddhist prayer beads) that he fidgeted with like the rings. The beads also became a big plot point.

Possibly but too tame for a drama unless it somehow serves the plot.

I ended up putting Dazzling on hold until completed.

A lot of people dissed him in A Hundred Memories but I felt it was the characteristics of the character he portrayed not his acting that was at fault.
And I liked his character in When the Stars Gossip.

I really liked Are You the One (9/10) but didn’t feel hooked like this and moved on quickly.
I’m watching Ashes to Crown (ep10 of 24) but don’t have that “gotta watch as soon as available” feeling sadly. Maybe it’ll pick up.

I’ll check out some kdramas if the actors and premise intrigues me. This one definitely caught my attention since the genre is a top fav of mine as is the FL and I’ve liked the ML’s acting for a while too. This was a superb pairing.

Good comments overall. But he’s the Grand Prince not the Crown Prince.
I don’t know if they told us the specifics like exactly how the king became the king when apparently the grand Prince could’ve should’ve been that’s why the king does nasty things to him scared he’ll be overthrown.
