Same writer, some scenes also focus on high school and main characters who are quite troublemakers (not that this is a bad thing).

I enjoy the way that woman are portrayed in both of these dramas.

Eyes of Dawn focuses on the Japenese side of the Sino-Japanese war from 1938 onward. It adds another perspective to what was going on at the time.
This drama also touchs on the fighting after the sino-Japanese war in China.

Same director and writer. The 2nd lead in Sandglass is the same actor as the main in Eyes of Dawn. There is also a lot of actor sharing in the casting.

Both focus on finding and solving missing person cases. Both main character have some trauma. If you loved the detective and mystery elements in this its a good watch. Missing Noir M is only 12 episodes so it is a short drama.

It might seem like a stretch but one of the best things about Hot Stove League is the scripts use of metaphors and symbolism that can be applied to our daily life. Now do bare in mind that Hot Stove League is not a melo-series. But I did see some parallels. Also add to both of these dramas focus on leadership, office politics, corruption, trust, grief and personal responsibilities.

The main male leads remind me of each other in the way they hold themselves. Although the main character in the one does have the ability to express feelings. The settings and the plot stay professional throughout. The leads are also very smart and every move in the plot makes sense for each character.

It's a bit of a stretch but both have elements of emphasizing family, have humor elements, address mental health (in different ways) and include adolescent family separation.

You feel like when watching these shows that you are part of the family.
