I mean, it's a great drama and the last eight episodes are certainly amazing, but through most of the middle nothing…
I actually don't agree with this. I liked how it was slow build. You get more character development. Especially the support characters. I really like how it was build up. I think if we didn't get that slow build, like when eugene trained the soldiers, we wouldn't feel the emotion in the final episode where they said goodbye to each other in the train

Same!! So many people died in one episode. I rewatched Eugene dead scene so many time. I'm still heartbroken from this episode. It going to take me a few days to recover from the final episode????
why has the male lead be so often narcisstic and/ or arrogant. I really like kdrama where the male lead is kind. (to everyone, not only his girlfriend)
