Yeah right, that’s why everyone is gossiping about Harry/Megan and other celebrities in the pub in the UK. The UK tabloids make a fortune out of celebrities’ private lives being exposed. You’re silly and ignorant

No one cares about what the public feels, it is his choice and so the case is over.

I’m probably in the minority not liking the latest episodes. It started off soooo good but since they got together the ML became so cheesy and goofy, I’ve honestly been cringing but not in a good way. I think the ML is better suited for more serious/angsty roles. Their relationship feels forced. I wish the story was centred around the 2nd leads now.

I loved today’s episodes and love this drama but what a few comments:
1) I wish she would stop calling him Heartless xxx over and over again. It’s really annoying
2) I wish they had more time to fall in love before the new arc (I liked how they did it in AOL).

ML can never be ugly or wet no matter what

Is it me or Youku is sharing misleading previews? Like showing scenes that only appeared in the following episodes.

I personally loved the drama but not because of him though. It was a very well written drama with amazing cinematography. He acted well but the FL was amazing. I would have still watched if he wasn't the lead.

Yes and C dramas tend to be quite clear from the start of the drama about the ending. They usually don’t let the viewers indulge in too much comedy and cute lead interactions when the ending is sad. In GMP and other sad ending dramas I could tell by how dark the opening credit songs and interactions with leads that it will end up sad.

Usually these dramas “teach” the viewer a lesson: nothing is black and white and the supposedly good people are not so clean. Dramas love grey characters and I like it too actually as this depicts reality pretty well.

Haha interesting. Well each to their own, he is very tall and has somehow western features so maybe that makes him stand out. He definitely is very charming that’s for sure

I loved it and I love her personality. The FL lead is doing a good job at being balanced as her character could have easily been very annoying and bratty but she makes her lovable. Great acting

It took 8 years for someone as talented and handsome as Jeremy Tsui to get a lead role. I think he’s done pretty well considering when he debuted and the high quality dramas he received. Same for wallace chung. I think being well networked does help.

I don’t think he is bad looking either but he is definitely not handsome- at least not from a C drama perspective. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a movie actor but in dramas looks are a big part of what differentiates Leads to non leads.

Ok well that explains it. I’m absolutely not saying he is ugly but when the competition is fierce and the public expects leads to look like gods/goddesses usually

Seriously? I heard different things. He himself keep on saying that he knows he is not handsome. I’m surprised but if you say so I believe you ;)

I really don’t want to be mean as I’m not vain but I’m surprised the actor who plays the ML managed to get all these lead roles. C dramas place quite a big weight on looks and he is not conventionally handsome. His acting is good but I wouldn’t say exceptional. I wonder if he’s been in the industry for a while. On a different note, I find the FL really refreshing and great acting. Same for the 2ML and 2FL. The drama is well written and fun. I haven’t enjoyed a fantasy drama as much since AOL, TMOPB and Love and Destiny. Really loving it so far!
