It's a trashy cheap makjang. You get what you expect. It's a good hate watch and is so bad, it's funny. So in a way, yes I found it entertaining because it was purposely made so ridiculous.

I don't think I've watched any of his movies, but you make me want to check out a ton of his works. :) p.s. Your writing is fantastic.

I kind of hated the fact that they threw in a curveball in the form of a 5th male actor, but I can't deny it made the show interesting and provided a lot of twists. I liked this group of actors much better than season 2, but season 1 will always be my favorite. The studio hosts' reactions to this season were just as good as season 1. ^^

I didn't like this season as much as the first. There was too much drama this season and I couldn't really ship anyone. Kanon was my favorite actress though. My favorite part was the guest appearance episode. The hot spring kiss was pretty hot. :P

You had me laughing from the beginning. 😂 I must have a dark sense of humor. 🙈 I need to check out Grandma Igna now. Thank you for the laughs. ^^

I voted for dramas where people are surviving/growing in work or school. These dramas usually have a significant amount of character growth by the end.

Some of my favorites are the nonsense titles that are purposely made really random in order to get international fans to check it out (like click bait). Barrack O'Karma is a classic. ^^

That's pretty much half the plot. I watched this solely for the food and enjoyed it. The other stuff with all the unnecessary drama and romance was mediocre.

It sounds dubbed based on the sound mixing, but some actors may do their own dubbing.

Ah ok. That makes sense a little, but it still wouldn't explain why the hallucination had a dark aura around him.

So there's this female villain that's incited to kill Son to get revenge against Ran. Her boyfriend's evil ghost wasn't actually him since he's actually a Grim Reaper and said that it was never him who talked to her. So who on earth was she talking to this entire time?? Who was behind this "illusion"? Her turning evil for such a reason made no sense in the first place. This whole subplot made no sense to me.

I think I missed something about one of the villains. Can someone explain it?

Ah, it's hard to be pick, but I guess the Glowing Girl story with how the clouds became grey and the Blinking Girl story are my top 2.

Just an FYI, the link to stream the movie on Tubi is the international version, which combines parts 1 and 2. A couple scenes are cut out from this version. IMO, the international version did a better job of explaining who the characters were and background story, so watch it for the first 15-20 minutes and then switch the normal version if you can. Or if you want the basic gist of the story, just watch the international version, but I feel like a lot of the symbolism got cut out.

I wasn't expecting much, but this ended up being a pretty awesome production. The story pulled me in and the set and costumes were fantastic.

Wang Yibo's cameo in the beginning was so unexpected. xD

Thank you for mentioning. I ended up reading up on the South Thailand insurgency and now all the "danger" makes sense. Nothing shady with the movie though. It just promotes coexistence. ^^
