I've seen a lot of these and I don't know if that' s a good or bad thing. ^^;; Anyways, Battle Royale is one of the OGs and one of my favorites. Out of the dramas, the Liar Game series is my favorite and has one of my all time favorite drama osts.
Such an interesting article. They look so different as kids! I think I discovered these artists much later on in their career. The earliest I saw Yang Zi was probably Battle of Changsha. Can't wait for part 2. ^^
I personally liked Alice in Borderland better. It totally caught me off guard at times and the music was just soo good. Also, even though Squid Game was better with Recognizable Symbols, I had a lot of fun trying to figure out the characters and matching them to their counterparts from Alice in Wonderland.
As long as I'm not in a makjang with a cheating husband and crazy birth secrets, we good. I think I'm more suitable for a supernatural drama, but people around me are bound to die. 🙈
hm I do wonder if Kyung Ho had planned to die like this or if that was a miscalculation of his. And I would have…
1. Kyung Ho said he developed those abilties while he was locked up (probably as a child). Maybe it was through intense meditation/concentration that he unlocked it?
2. The wife left to save the child because she knew Kyung Ho would be after it no matter what. She was gonna fake that she miscaried so that maybe Kyung Ho would think child is dead, but obviously it did not work cuz he still found out child was alive. And the only way to protect the child then was to leave it in his care.
3. I just assumed that father couldn't get rid of his cult ways. Some people like to be in power and cults are one way to achieve it. The father/daughter fought over it cuz she disagreed with the idea of a center being created again. She probably knew what happed at the old one. She also hated her dad anyway.
how is the horror in this ? jump scares? music? does it have the "what's going on" vibe to it ?
No jump scares, but it has an eery, creepy vibe to it, especially with the sounds. Music can be creepy or upbeat for thriller. It will def keep u questioning.
Yay for cdrama love! This was a really interesting article. Out of the top 10 ranked, I've seen 9/10. Love and Redemption was my least favorite, but the rest are quality dramas. I'm surprised One and Only made Top 10 Historical Ranked just because it is so recent. I've seen all dramas from Top 10 Popular Overall and Top 10 Popular Modern. Some of my favorites are definitely on these lists.
I enjoyed most of these dramas, but i agree, they were all overhyped. 🙃 Move to Heaven and Navilerra were still kind of refreshing. Actually, I thought Hot Stove League was overhyped as well. ^^;; When it comes down to it, it's an average (but enjoyable) business drama. Doom at Your Service was really meh. I've been trying to build my tolerance for slow paced dramas. I guess it's a personal preference for a lot of people? Anyways, the first thing I do when a drama is being hyped is check to see which "oppas" are in it. 😬
