Yeah, like I said she continues to make assumptions throughout the drama cuz that's a psychological problem she needs to overcome, but they def tone it down in the later episodes, especially the sabotaging and harming others part. ML hanging out with her helped decrease the assumptions/casualties. I still didn't like her though. I felt like all of this just made her a dumb, naive female lead, which I personally can't stand. This drama was not for me because of this, though I get most of this is due to her trauma. She seemed much smarter before the incident.

She gets better after 4 episodes. She has a bit of a tragic past, which they reveal, and you sort of feel bad for her. I still found her annoying though.
I think I'm the only one that didn't find it amazing. I personally couldn't stand FL. I know she has her crazy reasons for her actions, but I couldn't stand it.
Super helpful explanation. I've seen some of these dramas and, even though some were not the best made *coughduoloucough*, I enjoyed them for the supernatural element and storyline (especially those involving leveling up/increasing rank). I probably might like this genre more than xianxia, which is unfortunate cuz the xuanhuan genre is younger and there are fewer of these dramas than xianxia. Anyways, can't wait to check out some of these recs. Thanks!
What an enjoyable read. ^^ Admittedly, at this point in my drama watching life I'm chasing after refreshing and original storylines, but nothing beats the appeal of romance. It may be cliché or unoriginal, but it just hits the spot. What annoys me though, is when lazy writers just copy and paste popular bits and pieces together from other dramas and throw it all together, especially when that emotional dramatic factor isn't there. There are cliches done right and forced cliches done wrong. Anyways, gotta love the classic ciiches.
It's a sweet drama. I'm just not sure if it was worth my time. The younger brother's storyline is kind of repetitive and the older brother's love triangle storyline is kind of painful. Watch if you've got nothing better to watch.
Pretty cool article. You don't hear much about the hallyu wave in the west indies. Like I knew it existed, but not the how it happened part. It was very informative.
Coincidentally, I finished watching PFJ just a couple days before this article was published. I couldn't stand it for these reasons. xD Season 2 has been a huge improvement. At least it's much more tolerable to watch now, but I've only seen a handful of episodes so far.
I liked the couples and the romance, but I personally found it way too draggy and having way too many filler scenes/arcs. The secondary couple's storyline was especially dragged out and that whole bit was dumb. They spent like a good 5 episodes on the scheming snake sisters. >.< Other than that, it's a quality drama with a decent budget production wise.
What an interesting article! In general, when it comes to my actual diet, I eat to live, not live to eat. I'd say I have a very well balanced media diet. I'm currently going through a fluffy cdrama detox though. I need to cut back on the cheap sweets.

I watched a bit of the first episode. I think it's dubbed or partially dubbed. They use the main actors real voices. The sound quality is pretty decent. I'd have to watch a couple of episodes to get a better idea.

Each power comes with a flaw so I dont really envy any of these characters, except maybe Do Bong Soon. XD
