it’s not realistic at all. I don’t know how it works in China but here in the UK you can’t be working as…
i might be wrong but as i understood it, the medical affairs departments is government regulated, making that sign off a dual medical and govnmt approval.
He was cute for a little minute but he’s starting to talk too much lol.
in chapter one of the novel, and ep one or two of the show, it shows her coming back home in tears and he just wouldn't shut up. she goes to her room for space and he won't stop knocking until she comes out and then he asks her to her face if she got her heart broken again, ha ha'ing aobut it. idk why but i took that personally lol. if that were my brother, or cousin, id have seriously slapped them. since that scene i've found him annoying. the show makes him a bit redeemable but the novel makes him progressively worse.

it's the way he's written, in the novel and in the show.
altho in the show he is given a bit more sense in one area. in the show, once he realized that the fl had a thing with her coworker, he did his best to avoid the sml and changed the way he referred to him in conversation, creating a distance.
in the novel, otoh, despite knowing that his cousin had a thing with the ml, he wanted to give her a "choice" after the sml finally admitted to his feelings so he did his best to make sure that the fl and sml where hanging out in the same area for days on end to see if they "met up by fate."

he always got on my nerves, and the novel is worse. he's an immature kid who's behaving below his age. in a regular sibling relationship, you can expect the younger brother to tease his older sister but only in private, never at her emotionally sore spots, and it generally eases off once the boy grows up. right now, he's in his first year of college, making him 18 or 19 yo, he obviously cares for the fl, has watched her suffer through rejection and unrequited love for two years or so, but still hasn't developed the insight or emotional maturity to know when to back off and shut up. like i said, i don't like him. he gets on my nerves.
it's nice but my one gripe is that in the novel the "pursuit" stage seems, or maybe is, a lot shorter…
having read the novel i can confirm that she does reciprocate and go all out to support him and make him happy once they get together. the show, for some reason, it proglonging the "wooing" period and is making the fl look a lot more timid than she's meant to be.
Iam a fan of skinship as much as the next gal but Iam also liking this slow burn ,flirting with dialogues and…
it's nice but my one gripe is that in the novel the "pursuit" stage seems, or maybe is, a lot shorter and faster. while the show is great and im enjoying their moments of growing closer, it does seem a bit draggy, and im feeling a bit bad for the ml tbh. he's going all out in every way, so i wish she could finally let him know that she's on the same page, even if she is still a bit leery from her past.
coz Gu Man, the novel's author is the drama's screenwriter as well 😊
omg really? nice!!!! that's definitely one way to make sure the novel has a faithful adaptation. i'm actually so happy to know this. while i was happy with how things were going so far, i was a bit worried if they'll be able to maintain the novel vibe until the end. now i'm assured they will. ty!!
last few episodes are adding elements and scenes not from the novel and i have to give massive kudos to the show writers for staying so true to the vibe and character of the novel. amazing work.
probably her father's gf's daughter, the one who wanted to meet ML in ep1?
idk what the'll do in the show but in the novel no, not official. just an "ambigious" relationship with the dauther mouthing off everywhere making like she was his adopted daughter or something
I agree, the drama does have a slow start. The dynamic shifts a bit faster after episode 9 (at least judging by…
yessssss i have never encountered a ml as sassy as him and i'm loving it. i'm praying with every atom of my being that they keep the dialogue for the show. a masterpiece!!!
in the novel, the fl's dad makes a comment to her about the ml not having the fate to inherit. does that get resolved? i haven't read that far yet but it's bothering me.
During ep 1 they attend the same party. The ml sees the fl and falls in love at first sight. The fl doesn't notice…
I don't know, I can only speculate. It's possible that the entire thing was a setup by the ml's friend. I think the frined was tyring to set up the ml to date, bc the ml was obsessed with work only. So when the friend realized that the ml was gobsmacked over the fl he tried pulling strings to get both of them to the same cafe at the same time. But the ml got into a crash and the friend was preoccupied with the recovery and things fell away? I don't know if the friend realized what he'd done or that the ml was carrying that hurt for so long. It's a plot point that i'm hoping will be clarified later on.

anyway,,,, immature and annyoing.

stfu it's no one you know and none of your freaking business!!!!
