Also, do you honestly believe the "leader" and the "maknae" BS that K-Pop production companies dish out as part…
Awww poor sweetheart! Do you want me to hand you a certificate for spreading unwanted information on the internet?!! I do really enjoy talking to you, oh enlightened one!! My Yoda😽
What exactly about this show has required "courage?" Any element of gayness has been at best implied. There has…
You really really really really want me to talk to you, don't you, my darling??!! Like you're dying to know what I think??!! Honestly, I'm feeling kind of flattered.
Everything in this paragraph is good English and I'm a native speaker, and I understand absolutely nothing in…
I just found out today!!! It's so cute!! And Omega X members are really talented too, like all of them are such good singers and one of the other members Hyuk is like a total pro with the guitar.... They've really stolen my heart💕

No worries!! It's just K-pop lingo! It can be esoteric at times.
(But it's just BTS fandom is known as ARMY, in case you're wondering. And the actors here are idols too of an 11-member K-pop group called Omega X (whose leader is Jaehan, and the most junior member is Yechan) and they were abused terribly by their CEO for over a year. They recently filed and won a lawsuit against the said company's treatment of them, the CEO resigned and they left and formed their own group independently, not part of any entertainment company. So it's really courageous of both of them being idols and all, to not only act in a BL in South Korea where they can be ostracised but also to prove to everyone that they are strong and will not bow down to the abuse.) I was just saying that even though I love BTS, I am going to be hollering for Omega X too from now on, these men have gone through enough and deserve our love, respect, and support! And that the leads are actually from the same band is kind of adorable.
Kim Jiwon is the type of actress that has chemistry with every co-actor. However, I just want to say having watched ALL her dramas, there is something special about this pairing of hers with Son Seok Ku that I hadn't noticed before in her other projects.
Jiwon has like this fairy-princess, soft lace and pink pillows feminine energy even if she plays a character wearing raggedy old oversized clothes. Her femininity pours out in scenes, which, I felt in MLN was exceptionally, perfectly, juxtaposed and balanced by the rugged, rough-around-the-edges, the gruff, uncut manliness of Seokku. He exudes this sexuality of untamed masculine charm that matches so well with her calm softness like puzzle pieces coming together. My heart literally fluttered, every scene they acted together! And that Marie Claire magazine shoot simply took my breath away.
They were sooooo perfectly cast as the Worship couple!! And they truly deserved that best couple award, (it's just that introverted couples never get the recognition they deserve).
Alright, went down the rabbit hole and the fact that Jeahan is the oldest and the leader, while Yechan is the youngest, the maknae of Omega X, makes this even cuter! The comfort and familiarity of being in the same group and weathering so many storms together makes me root for them so much harder!! I'm an ARMY but I guess from now onwards I'm an Omega X stan too! Wish nothing but success to them. Honestly, can't believe Jaehan and Yechan being idols, under so much pressure recently and this being their acting debut; the courage and finesse to do a BL and then to execute it so perfectly... Absolute Kudos!
Everything about this is so good! The acting, the cinematography, the pacing, the chemistry, the story, the direction literally everything is just a chef's kiss!!
Ok, this is soooo good! Both the actors are doing soooo good! This is only the second KBL I'm hooked on after Semantic Error. The fact that they are idols from the same group must be adding to this fiery chemistry. This is really good!
I just realized another masterpiece Night Flight, 2014, (if you haven't watched it, do watch but fyi it's LGBTQ related and it's brutal) had a very similar arc to Shieun's at the end. And both of them left me absolutely speechless and shook, and crying copious amounts of tears. [And, another controversial opinion, having watched both: Weak Hero is actually better than Glory, even though I'm sure, Glory will overtake Weak Hero in ratings soon.]
This is my Korean SRK-Kajol couple. Always the fave, always the best chemistry and married to each other in an alternate universe. So excited to see them together again!!
