okay because as the story progressed we see more than “oh she killed her baby” or wtv + we find out there was more to it. Where in my view she was wrong is never communicating it (and he’s equally guilty of that as well). The problem is how the relationship ended. She was completely tuned out and never gave it a chance, and this made him guilty as if he was the one at fault. It took maturing for him to understand and move on. And it took maturing for her to understand what marriage means. And I think that’s where her decision about having children changed. I’m not saying having children itself is the mature thing, but in her case it’s understanding that relationships change throughout marriage and that it’s okay but she gets bored and needed something to keep her on her toes haha. So the part that I disliked about her was keeping contact with her ex because that’s what kept hurting him.
Despite all I’m saying, the presentation of this relationship in the drama was for me a strong point and had me thinking.

What makes her heartless is how and why she ended the relationship not the baby. The baby was a factor that changed the relationship and both are at fault for not discussing it. The truth is at one point he started liking the idea of becoming a parent but he set it aside because the relationship was his priority since she didn’t want children. She left him because she was bored and put the blame on him. He believed it and kept being in contact with her because he couldn’t move on. She moved on but let him hang on. Their characters are interesting and multi dimensional but overall I think she inflicted a lot of damage on him. Anyways I like their resolve in the end, it kinda reaffirms how I see it but that’s just me

This drama is all about promoting the general medicine department. It’s idealistic and there isn’t really any antagonism. If anything it promotes being professional despite your differences which was a breath of fresh air. I especially enjoyed the episodic patients in each episode. It’s predictable and an easy watch, and doesn’t try to pretend to be anything else. Sweet but ultimately forgettable. Except for that episode about end of life care. Maybe because I’ve seen it in life but that episode really touched me and was really relatable.

No romance, not really friendship but camaraderie dynamic. The main attraction is the episodic cases. It’s idealistic about promoting treating patients as people and not their illness and taking their difficulties seriously

My thought the whole last episode 😂 I mean he brought them no drama but had to deal with all of theirs. He made the decision to stick around though

How does everyone think of the dynamic of the family? I feel there’s something creepy. Even their closeness and happy times feel fake. They also impose so much on Leo as their “treasure” it can be suffocating

For me especially when the uncle took the blame I thought the only logical explanation would be the brother but I thought maybe he was too young

Since she was with her friends I didn’t think it was during work hours + I sometimes watch bits at different times lol
totally with you on her character. I found it funny during court her newbie coworkers were fawning over her like she reinvented the wheel but everyone else weren’t that impressed.

I find their team is fun so it’s a missed opportunity to not shed some light on them and their cases. I wish they had SHOWN what happened to the other female associate rather than make her absence do the talking. But I like how the ml took care of her a bit this episode. I think I would have liked if we’ve seen him teaching each member.

Nothing new but it was sweet and fun. A mix of Kdrama Reply 1997 and Thai movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

For the romance part, I’m good with the movie length. For the era and the youthful antics, I wouldn’t mind a whole drama for that :P

After all that, I find her choice of marrying her long time friend (which I assume was pining for her his whole life) interesting. Especially with the ongoing connection she kept with her ex.
it’s just funny how the first scene we saw of her in the drama showed someone seemingly living her best life, but now my view of her changed. She’s more like someone that can crumble at any moment when things don’t go as she expected. Unless she matures for real. I think when one enters a marriage, you owe it to yourself, to the other person and to the home you created to communicate along with every change they face and do an effort. While both parties might have been at fault here, she was the one making unilateral decisions which shows her selfishness. Her reason for divorce was honesty childish. And many people like and the man of the case end up devaluing their relationship for really shallow reasons and as you put it, clouded by their own feelings to see the other. One thing I appreciate is that she didn’t cheat. But maybe if she had it would have been easier to let him move on.

I do think she matured in that she realized she was wrong hence the sense of shame she felt when he saw her pregnant. I just think she hasn’t matured as much as she thought she has. I also think she has yet to truly love. She was still enjoying the attention she was getting from her ex while she has moved on. From here I’m inferring based on what we know but I think she decided to become a mom because she realized with her following relationship that things don’t stay “red” and eventually get boring so she didn’t want to repeat the same mistake but instead decided to love her child.

Anyways a very realistic and unlikable character.

I appreciate the nuance portrayed in the relationship between ML and his ex. She’s not straight up evil but she’s evil to him, even if she didn’t mean to. Both have the right to change and not change their minds about how their family would look, with or without children and so on. You can tell his desire to become a parent grew during his marriage but he still respected her decision.
But she never communicated with him. She didn’t put any effort, got bored and decided on her own. She didn’t straight out say it but still blamed him for her feelings. Then when they separated, he was hanging on and she could tell and still let him hang on.
The worst when she matured and realized her selfishness she didn’t face it. Anyways I’m glad started standing up for himself against her.
Again, she’s not your typical evil ex, and her character is realistic, but she still hurt and stole have of the guy’s lifetime. I know a lot of women who usually go through this with selfish men.

Am I the only one who finds selfishness disguised as independence much more despicable than straight up selfishness? They steal people’s time and leave making the other one feel lacking like they did something wrong.

Hard to know how I feel about this drama. I preferred the elderly couple over the main couple. I like the presentation of a healthy divorce where the wellbeing of the child comes first. My main problem is Seita is frustratingly indecisive which drags the story down. Like honestly I didn’t care if they ended together or not.

It’s fine I generally prefer Japanese dramas for minimal romance. For me as long as we are talking about a certain profession I like that characters are professional. i quit this restaurant drama because the restaurant the leads so called gave up everything to open barely functioned while they left it because they were too busy with the love triangle.

So far here I’m loving the episodic cases, I like that they all have depth and interesting. The leads so far showed their strengths and weaknesses and their growth potential. I just wish we see more of the coworkers. So far they’re fun but no depth

So far it’s hard to tell which direction it will take. The female lead is very capable and knowledgeable but a bit clumsy. Episode 2 showed her learning to think outside of the box from the male lead. But he also learned in both episodes to listen to what she has to say because her attention to details in unmatched. The supporting cast/coworkers are entertaining but I do hope they play more integral part of the story.

Anyways it’s too early to tell so you either wait for others let you know as more episodes aire or you give it a try
