This is really off topic but this Manager Kim reminds so much of Asahina from Junjou Mistake. He is too devoted to Geum Tae Woong like Asahina was to Isaka so I can't help but correlate .
These were the loop holes in the plot I pointed out in the comment section of the drama right after it finished (just copying and pasting here). It had many loop holes and unanswered questions about which writers and director did not bother about. Seriously a lame piece of writing and direction.
1. GHR was ruthless to HJW so much so that she insulted her in a live programme, leaked her intimate photographs and made her transfer to remote place. So was HJW to GHR. But later in the series, she was friendly and helping her out from the political-business-law lobby (How forgiving!). This could not be justified. She had the golden opportunity to grab the show (that's how her character was initially and she went out of her character). This character vanished away in later episodes. The writers have to be blame for this.
2. Kevin Lee's death: One bang on the wall and he dies!! Later Tae wook bangs entire car into the pole and had minor injuries that went totally unnoticed. Remember this was collision that could kill a person as judges were convinced that kevin lee died in this accident when GHR was released.
3. HMW: As I mentioned earlier, who does that. He's no saint. That was lamest of all. He said he hired somebody from the prison to kill Kevin Lee. While in prison he comes to know that Kevin lee was blackmailing her and he needs to kill. Police was not convinced but judges must be total nuts to believe that and even sentenced him to death/prison. Even the person who doesn't know much about law can understand that these things can be easily investigated. One of the scenes in the last episode was totally disconnected, where HMW blames Eun Joo for the entire thing. Where did that come from!!
4. The show built an aura of some major suspense to be revealed, be it with Eun Joo's character, HMW, the director-GHR's caring-rival relationship. The writers and the directors were unable to take it any further. This could have been very well developed.
5. The ending also seemed to be rushed up. Tae wook killed a person and every other person knows about this (GHR, his father, GHR's friend, Eun Joo, his subordinate in office) and nobody bothers, even his subordinate hides the evidences.
6. Eun Joo was strangest of all. She was bent upon making GHR go to jail, now doesn't care and wants to leave for America.
7. Police was also not shown to be doing the job properly. Entire suspicion was built on GHR's broach. Why forensic testing not done for such renowned player? The reason of death can be easily found out, whether it was because of accident or some scuffle. Also, time of death, whether he was already dead before the accident or not. This broach thing was soooo amateur. With finger print evidence inside his car, Tae wook would have been easily caught.
Dramalandlove, THANK YOUUUUUU. You are an intellectual. There were soooo many plot holes with the murder part.…
Thank you so much dear Hope.
Exactly, the political-Law-media lobby was such a good plot-line if they wanted to develop that further. These people double crossed both GHR and Tae Wook and entangled them in a mess. And suddenly their story vanished away. Also, as I mentioned earlier, each and every character went lame towards the end. And yes I agree with you that story was pushed in whatever direction because the writer/direction lost direction themselves.
It was so surprising to see all praises in the comment section. But I am happy to find like minded people who understand the plot as well.
I disagree about how the characters become lame—everything that happens is clear character development. Initially,…
How about the other injuries that can come due to car accident did not occur? Remember that accident has to be fatal because when GHR was released, the judges agreed that he died in an accident. Plus all on other points I raised previously, I assume you agree on them as there are no relevant answers to them.
I won't be in this conversation any more as I really want to forget this drama.

"Tae Wook did erase his finger prints from the car. Not realistic, but can be done if he is meticulous." That's your speculation. Hence, exactly my point...they did not show that (flaw in writing/direction).
Also, regarding forensics, nothing was shown and whole plot was built on the broach thing (that was seriously lame)... they could have shown that time of death and time of accident was different or same for GHR to be convicted or acquitted. Hence, lot of loop holes in the entire show.
Plus one more thing... Kevin lee was banged in the wall and he died so the fatal injuries must be on spinal cord. However, car accident (the way it was banged in pole) will give more injuries on frontal part.
The effort of the makers is futile and they could have done a better job

With a broader point of view of the drama, u might be right. But if u look deeply, there were many loop holes and those were never dealt.

Cast/Acting/Music were on point...really good. But lacking good writing and direction. So don't just go by the literary part. It seriously lacked logic in many respects.
I guess I am the only one who so unconvinced with story taking this turn in last few episodes... So many loose ends and no one cared to put them together.. 1. The political-business-law lobby attacking the media is completely forgotten about. 2. The character of Han Ji Won was emerging to be a strong and interesting one in few initial episodes but turns lame by the end. 3. Ha Myung Woo = Totally unconvincing. Sacrificed entire life for the woman and even says "she is worth this" in one of the scenes. Nobody does that.
All in all, the characters were strong initially and turned lame by the end and showed a bad piece of writing and direction.
Some more flaws in the drama are pointed below in a reply and trust me there are a whole lot of unanswered questions which the writer did not care about. He probably was not true to his own story.
same here my dear! and why do both of them suffer, her from the agonising thoughts of knowng that she will gonna…
Exactly!!! I believe that writers do injustice to their own stories as well as greater injustice to their viewers... We spend 20+ hours and so much of internet data on them for these thoughtless endings...They probably followed Goblin but that acclaimed writer also failed to give a proper ending. This one became a bigger disaster.
Scriptwriter tried to imitate Goblin but failed miserably :/
Despite all the success Goblin had, its ending was disappointing (atleast i did not expect this from that famous writer). trying to imitate it was a huge mistake. they should have done something original and logical
What a lame ending!!! I don't know what happens to writers by the end of the show... They r unable to give proper closure to their stories (probably they go crazy by the end)... This happens with many dramas and such endings ruin the entire show... I was totally disappointed with ending
By going through the comments, I realized that the drama is a hit or miss for people... But want say that the person who gave the background score for the drama must be a sheer genius.... that mystery and fear even in normal scenes!!... its really good
