Was looking forward to this after watching the impressive episode 1 opening. But with comments warning it’s…
Reconsider?

I've just finished my 3rd or 4th rewatch of this drama, and when I finish it, I look forward to a few months passing, so I can watch it again. It's a show I've loved every single time I've watched it. It was one of the best things to come out of 2022.

This has the actor from Maid's Revenge, so . . . yes, yes, I'll be watching. Which I probably would anyhow, seeing as it's about revenge, scumbags, and green tea bitches.

Of the hundreds of dramas I've seen across many cultures: S. Korean, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Pakistan, Turkey--the Jellypo scene in episode one is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Even if you can't work up any love for another 15 episodes, watch the first half of episode one just for that scene.

There are at least a dozen dramas on your list that aren't from 2022, and a few are even from 2016. Check especially page 3 of this list. Lots of dramas on this page are not 2022.

I heard that, too, so I never watched the last episode. Far as I'm concerned, it's a 16 episode drama.

Are we confident that it will end after 16 episodes? I don't want to start this until it's sure.

It isn't perfect, but I strongly recommend you give "Extraordinary Attorney" another shot. I watched this show after a really extended Kdrama drought,, and I'd watch a Kdrama every day if I could find others as good as this one. I've also watched "Red Sleeve" numerous times. If I'm short of time or just in a mood, I watch episodes 1, 2, 15 & 16 of this drama, and it's very satisfying.

It's a Kuaishou mini web-drama, probably around 30 episodes or so, but we don't know exactly how many for certain,…
Two minute episodes, though. Gosh.

This entire drama is only 7 episodes, 2 minutes each? Is it a college project or something?

Gosh. Some parts of this have been unbearably stupid, with bonus! dig at US Civil Aeronautics. If you ignore that, it's not a bad show. depending on your appetites for sexism and controlling mothers. And noble idiocy. There's a noble idiocy arc that lasts for several episodes. So there's some of that, too. Also, love triangle. And hopelessly infatuated 2nd (or 3rd, depending on how you're counting) FL. And 2nd male lead. It's a multi-dimensional love triangle.

I like Seven Tan in everything I've seen her in, but she does tend to play the same plucky, upbeat, bright character in all her dramas, and she has about the same kind of chemistry with all her co-stars. I'm coming to the conclusion that if you've seen one of her dramas, you've seen them all.

It may not be up to her, but I hope she can choose some parts that let her stretch outside her usual characterizations, assuming she's interested in becoming a better actor.

No matter what project he's in, or who his character is, I can never unsee Kim Byung Chul as the hideous ghoul from "Goblin".

The bottom line is that no matter how dumb the plot is (it's pretty dumb), or how much you want to throttle the ridiculous loud and silly second FL (you'll want to, trust me) you stick around for the ML, who is charismatic, elegant, sexy. and hot. 24 episodes of the other nonsense is completely worth it.

Stylish. A bit confusing, to start. ML is way over the top with attitude and rage directed at FL for no discernible reason. My biggest issue is the terror of the FL. She's in a scary situation, for sure, but I don't think I can put up with 24 episodes of her trembly, breathless panic. Watching her being bullied by everyone except the neighbor's goat and wondering what it would take for her to tell one of them to fuck right off. I want to watch that show instead of this one.

They do show her wondering about him being able to play/being great at basketball and being able to run etc. but…
I'm not a cardiac surgeon (I just play one on TV :-), but organ transplants are pretty big deals. Post surgery, there's a huge amount of medicines you take, several for the rest of your life. Diet and activity are also likely to be closely regulated, and while you'd be in better shape after your transplant than you were before it, you're not 100%. I think the writers should have clued her in earlier in the drama than they did, so that people like me don't come along and think she has no practical sense.

Still, and this is the important part, your comment is really excellent.

Great list! So sad that I've watched almost all of them.

You might add "Secret" from 2013. The first half of the drama, the ML is obsessed with making the FL's life as difficult as possible, and his interest in where she is, who she's with, what she's doing is off the charts. The second half of the drama, he still obsessed, but now it's because he loves her.

Ronda Rousey, undefeated UFC until her match with Holly Holms, is a champion judoka. Many MMAs have a background in Judo and wrestling, and if you train in BJJ, you will get at least an introduction to Judo.

Cruelty, violence, aggression or ruthlessness have nothing to do with any sport, including martial arts, and are also largely forbidden in combat.

Competitively, no. If she exhibits a maiden's heart on the mat, she's going to get beat a lot in matches. Martial arts isn't like running track or swimming. It's a sport, true, but underlying the sport is combat.

This a good comment.

I don't know what "having the heart of a young girl" actually means, but aren't young girls immature and rather silly? That doesn't mean the same thing as stupid, of course, but immature and silly isn't a good look on martial artists.
