Give it another try recognising that Young Blood does drag in places but there are some good twists in it as well. It is an ensemble cast as opposed to JOL where it is all about Fan Xian, which is a role on ZRY could have pulled off so well. It is also much lower budget and the cast is greener but they all acted their hearts out. Of course it is far from another JOL which is one of those unique and memorable dramas.
Enjoy and do let me know what you end up thinking of the Disguiser and YB if you give it another shot.
I think the period spy dramas are better and I loved both Joy of Life and Young Blood. They are both written by the same screenwriter who also wrote Sword Snow Stride. Since I see you enjoyed that then maybe check those out. The FL in Young Blood is very smart.
