Yes they are all dubbed and JJY is using her usual dubber. But it is very well done.

I liked Class of Her Own but Ruyi Pavilion was meh although not just because of her. I passed on Yunxi bc of the ending but at least she isn't decked out like an x-mas tree in that one. This is my third one I am glad so far she is not as harebrained and obnoxious as she was as Fu Rong.

Great article and a nice change from what we usually see. I love visiting ancient sites and before I went to Istanbul I read a lot about the Ottoman empire and history - Topkapi Palace was the highlight of my trip! I watched maybe one season of Magnificent Century but reading subtitles is always hard for me so I didn't continue even though I enjoyed it. I don't know the characters as well as you do but I think Lin Gengxin could also make a good Suleyman. I think Fan Bingbing is too old for Hurrem and not enough of a temptress. Maybe a Li Qin would do better. Love the Zhu Yilong and Zhang Ziyi casting (but wow that would make her mad to play a middle aged role!). Anyway love it, thanks for the effort.
