Well if I remember correctly either only xue4 or only xue3 and xue4 are the only two official pronunciations - xue3 when its used as a standalone word and xue4 when its combined with other words. But I took my classes many years ago and colloquially native speakers pronounce however they like - most native speakers don't really speak standard Mandarin. I also think its widely debated what should be the "correct" way to say it among the native speakers bc people with different dialects have strong different opinions about which is correct, I have seen arguments about it online but I never bother to read them in detail. I think its one of those you only need to be correct if you are taking a Mando test soon.

I believe xue3 血 is the most common pronunciation nowadays. The other two xie3 or xue4 are also used but less common; xue4 should be the official and literary way to say it but colloquially its less used nowadays. I have different friends who prefer to say it one way or the other none of it is technically incorrect. Censors usually review the show before post production/dubbing so they don't comment on small things like how a word is pronounced. I wasn't bothered by YZ's voice acting, it is very good compared to most other actresses. She makes it a point to dub herself in everything. I believe DW's standard mandarin is pretty good but they probably dubbed him bc his lines were not good enough.

ZWY's voice acting is amazing - even Chinese netizens are praising him. This story is kind of on the too slow moving side for me but I love his voice and his line delivery I can listen to it all day. It is normal for actors when they infuse emotion into their lines tend to blur some words but when a really good actor like ZWY does it, you can still hear what he said without reading the subtitles. This is much harder in Chinese than in English bc Chinese words have so many more homonyms. Tan Jianci is also same level so LYF was such a treat for me - beautiful prose, amazing line delivery by the whole cast!

I think Huaiying wang is going to have way bigger problems than just the reveal of his impersonation of Cui Jiu. There are people who want him dead.
