When does she realise Xingyun and Xing Zhi are the same person?
Are they?
This xianxia explores a similar theme that was explored in Love & Destiny

Yeah for 1st week 2 episodes per day and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 episode per day ..The next week schedule…
Yeah the platforms all started to do this ever since ad slot sales slowed down. They want to keep the option open to speed up or slow down further the airing schedule depending on market conditions.

Title In Blossom Spoiler
From watching the wedding flashbacks, I am beginning to think that Yang Caiwei/Shangguan Zhi
was killed by Shangguan Lan.

sadly its not a matter of popularity for a show to be on netflix but they have to pay netflix to put it on there…
Must be. These shows cost hundreds of millions of RMB to make. They are licensed to platforms like Netflix and TV stations in return for royalty and/or license fees. That's how they make their money back.

Pan Yue kept her in the freezer. So there is some hope... (but I seriously doubt).

I think that's a popular gripe among most viewers of this drama. It's either the casting people didn't care, the…
Totally catfished! I guess that's why the ML is super intelligent but doesn't see any vestige of YCW either!

I sensed it.
The princess in this show is a commandery princess, a jùn zhǔ/郡主 and not a gōng zhǔ/公主. She may be at most the Empress' grand-daughter but she is not her daughter. Commandery princess is often a bestowed title to noble ladies.
I agree the conspiracy has to do with court politics but I haven't figured out what yet. Yang Caiwei's father was the past Minister of Justice, which is now Pan Yue's father's job. So Pan Yue's dad benefitted from his removal.

Its actually the other way around. Netflix has to buy the license from Youku.

I finally have time to catch up on this. I am sorry there are just too many fan war posts. I am going to block all of them so that I can catch up on the proper discussion posts.

A character who has yet to appear in the series and I suspect she is the number one figure in Ripple's organization…
I suspect that has to be Qing di/青帝, the head of Baihua bc the 帝 in her name means emperor.

I don't really watch Xianxia but I come here because of the main actors. I do enjoy this show because it's different…
Makes sense, can’t be watching everything all at once.

I think the who is quite obvious and too early on in the show. Hopefully he isn't the main mastermind.

Disney is the destroyer of fairytales. I used to read the original The Little Mermaid to my little sister. When she watched the Disney movie she got super mad at me for lying to her to just make her cry. I hated Disney ever since.

Why would anybody ask for their kiss? It's thousand time better (=sexier) when they fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BmIA53G70w
Oh yeah! Their scenes in PA were HOT! They did not have to kiss. In Shen Li its still there but its no longer scorching.

I think xianxia has indeed been largely disappointing. But it should not be. There are many amazing mythical stories…
Yes but even here in HK its hard to catch at theatres and then it just takes forever to come online.

Me either. My favorite Western fairytale was The Little Mermaid and only bc she turns into sea foam at the end in the original Hans Christian Andersen version. Am allergic to the Disney forced and sappy HEA endings.
