No main lead character in a cdrama dies until the last 2 episodes. So she definitely is not dead but idk how they are going to revive her and I will be mad if it is a spoiler for how Fan Xian survives in JOL2. My best guess for now is right side heart. And she has definitely fake fire died before so that part is an old trick. I hope LTG is in on it this time bc it’s too cruel to trick him again and he didn’t seem that inconsolable.

Difficult to compare - I guess in their own way they are both teenage fairytales. The Hope is excellent. Not watching TLI so no comment on that.

All very true but I am not saying anyone is in love. I am simply speculating that part of their hostility to each other could be unwelcome attraction. It doesn't rule out all the other things nor does it diminish the FL. She can want to go home and still be attracted to someone. Emotions are complex and not one dimensional.

The ML thought she was his ex so I would say he was attracted to her or who he thought she was. And he is her only anchor in this world so it wouldn't be strange for her to be attracted to him. For obvious reasons they are both fighting it. But if you don't see it, that's cool if your impression is not mine. No big deal.
