I think she's pretty smart how she got the best practicing lawyers behind her. They are going to be far more effective than a law professor who understands the letter of the law but not necessarily the best method to bend it to your best interest.

Balance would be good. Not a huge fan of excessive angst.

The novel is heavy romance with lots of politics as well. Best not have too high expectations bc I have been told the novel is coma inducing by my insomniac friend who used the audio book as a sleep aid. I think if they cut out a lot of the heavy politics it may be ok.

Yeah there is a bit too much dialogue about mundane logistics. I think Rayzha did take awhile to get into character but she got more natural by the 5th or 6th episode.

The Chinese character嶷 has two Mandarin pronunciations yí and nì. This kind of variation is known as a tone split, that is fairly common due to vast regional differences in pronunciation due to the many Chinese dialects. The Standard Mandarin pronunciation is Yí but if this drama is set in Northern China, the historically authentic pronunciation is probably Nì and that is what the production has clariified. I think but I am not 100pct positive, native Beijing dialect speakers today would still use Nì. That said, Google translate will default to the Standard Mandarin Yí. For the purposes of this drama, the Xu Kai clip makes it clear it is Nì .

Yeah it was such the wrong call! The main cast are all good enough actors to dub themselves!!! And yeah, they always sideline the FL at the end. So typical.
