Trailers are always cut to be very misleading. I always avoid them and haven't/won't watch any bc I just end up being confused about whether somethiing was just the trailer or it really happened that way in the drama.

Well the spy is in the Yu household most likely bc they messed with their elixir so only two possibilities. I am not really suspecting it’s Jin Fan but clearly YWS is trying to find the spy and she thinks it may be Jin Fan.

I think it’s quite clear that WuFeng grew out of Gong family. There are many hints of it. I am quite sure the Wind Elder is the WuFeng head. But I think the hidden spy is just a Mei level spy based on the token they found and that spy could very well be Lady Wuji but it also could be Jin Fan.

The fourth one is always absent - I assume he or she is the WuFeng sect leader. The fourth elder may have a high court position or be a royal concubine which explains their absence from the Gong mansion. From the organization chart of Gong family there are four elders with their characters written on them. Tbh when they only show 3 all the time it was a dead giveaway for me.

The Gong family guards a secret weapon the Infinite Fire that is the power behind the throne. The Four Elders are representatives of the heirs to the throne (four princes) - Moon/yue; Snow/Xue; Hua/Flower and Wind/Feng/风.The wind elder’s branch means to rebel and seize the throne. They went out to secretly found the WuFeng 无锋 sect where the Feng/ 锋 and 风/wind are homonyms. He means to get the weapon to help his prince ascend - I assume this is not the crown prince.

Idk if they started translating the chapter names (the coins) yet but the early chapters were about Zhi/poison. Feng (Wufeng or the assassins), Jue /business/SJ etc.
It’s only in the last episode they have gotten to Yu which is of course about the Yu defense branch. This is just how the story is unfolding. It will get to everyone’s story in due course. We should see a Shang arc as well.

No only Huanyu and Ziyu are siblings. ZiSHANG is from the Shang line she is their cousin.

I think I’m that discussion what the sword wielded felt guilty about is that SJ emerged from the trials ahead of HY but the Sword Wielder in consultation with the Elders elected Huanyu as the Young Master/heir anyway. That is why Yuanzhi always feels resentful bc he thinks by merit it should be SJ that is next in line. I also think before Huanyu barged I that night the Sword Wieldsr meant to change the succession plan to place SJ there.

YWS mission is to figure out the layout and defences of the fortress. She in particular needs to gain access to the back mountain which very few people have access to but presumably the Sword Wielder's bride would. I assume the Infinite Fire is the ultimate goal but idk if she knows that yet. SGQ's target was always GSJ. He is the most capable so if she can eliminate him, it will be like a death blow to Gong family.
