Yes you are right my mistake. I quickly skimmed the first chapter of the book earlier on and I thought it said she replaced the only daughter of Yun family whose name was coincidentally also Yun Weishan and that stuck in my mind. I would also add in Chinese they used zhangnu which means oldest daughter but it doesn't necessarily mean she has a younger sister, it could also just mean she is the oldest and is a girl.

The biggest budget item for these dramas are actor pay, even after it was capped at 50pct since 2019. Since most of the main actors are relative newcomers that are far from A-listers, they really didn't need to pay them that well. Most o fthem probably took this just to be in a Guo Jingming production. That left them with ample budget for to raise the production values. That's why it looks and feels so expensive even though its only an A.
