No its a CCTV drama that iQiyi licensed. And spy dramas are usually heavy propaganda. I don't really mind that much but I am not always in the mood for it. That said, it is from the team that made Sparrow which is my favorite spy drama.

Ty - IMHO to Xiao Yao, Cang Xuan comes first but he is her brother; she loves him in a platonic way. And Xiang Liu is his sworn enemy; he is forbidden she can never choose him. So Tushan Jing is her only real choice.

And I didn't read the novel so idk who ends up with her but if I had to guess I would say it is Tushan Jing but only because he will be the last man standing. I think she loves them each in different ways but unfortunately either Cang Xuan will kill Xiang Liu or vice versa. I think that means she will never be able to forgive whoever survives enough to be together with him. So that only leaves Tushan Jing but he is a leftover, not to me a ML. To me, the ML is obviously CX bc this story is about the two of them. Everyone else is a side main character especially Fenglong who is just a shallow but good looking clown. This would have been a failed novel if she ends up with him so I only consider him a minor character.

I agree with that for most dramas but when it comes to super big idols, Douban also has the same issues, maybe to a lesser degree.

We won't know for 100pct sure until it ends but this could be the first drama I can remember where splat really means splat!!!

Douban 8+ is indeed a really good rating. The highest Douban score for 2023 YTD was 9.4 for The Long Season.

She loves them all differently. And she has clear requirements that rule out all but one of them anyway.
