Actually I have watched all 8 episodes now I think it has gotten pretty interesting at this point and much less of the silly humor. Honestly I also hated the first 4 episodes of LLTG but after that I enjoyed it. Idk what it is with c-dramas they just don't know how to open and how to close.

It gets better after episode 3. Most of the time I don't find the humor funny but at least the supernatural aspects are interesting and the storyline is quite unique. Ren Jialun also warms up to his role later on. I don't think its a fantastic drama but its a decent watch if your expectations are not too high.

They are just sticking to the original story. Sadly, he just was not that into her.

Yeah - I think Hu Fei isn't ready to just accept an alternative narrative of what happened to his folks and just embrace the person he thought was his parent's murderer as a friend without investigating first. And he can't exactly ask one of the suspects to investigate alongside him so he is going to figure it out with CLS and I fully expect them to wrap it up together. Wouldn't be shocked if MRF ends up joining them in the capital when he is fully recovered.

I think MRF's arc is not over yet.
