Wouldn't say enjoy 😅but let's say I appreciate that it is different and not a fairytale. The part I most certainly enjoyed was the dark comedy around that dreadful triangle.

Lol your writing shows that you definitely liked Part 2 so much more. While I also found it better than Part 1, I think both parts kept to a consistent high standard. And Jabba the Hut is spot on for grandma. 😂

She is also the saddest character. She did all the right things and she gets nothing.

She was the hero of the story to me.

It was a terrific scene but this part was obviously dubbed later on and not live recorded. I wonder if Lusi was really crying so hard she couldn't say the lines clearly.

I sent feedback to Tencent they should ask the director to clean it up.

It is not that rare, I know many people who still speak it today. It is just rare on film bc of Chinese govt policies on using Standard Mandarin. It s a difficult dialect for sure and Takeshi Kaneshiro deservingly won high praise for speaking it pretty much flawlessly in Dragon (Wu Xia on MDL), a Donnie Yen movie.

Yeah and after all they have been through, best do it before anything else can happen to mess it up.

Hihi - been in work hell and pretty busy on the personal front so I am very behind in watching. I stayed away to avoid spoilers. I believe this was a bit rushed to air bc of the last minute panic on costumes and the overall editing suffered as a result. I am looking forward to a Director's cut bc the last few episodes had so much cut out it was only just a bit better than watching a trailer...

I think there were many lost scenes but idk if it is as much as 10 episodes.
