I guess that may make sense also but he doesn't strike me as being that skilled. I just remember Su Mengzhen mentioned he would certainly have died in that fight had the Cabbage and Rock not intervened. Maybe he has hidden talent that will surprise us later. In any case I know I need to pay attention, pause and rewind more going forward.

Its a doomed relationship. Her dad is a big bad guy and sworn enemies with her lover. Su Mengzhen will be forced to kill or be killed by him. Either way its not gonna be happily ever after for them.

The opening ballad descriptions are riddles. I think it’s clear who is red sleeve, sincere and honest and bloody yingkan. I missed the 13 doom bit. And I think BCF is definitely one of them but I need to go back and look at the characters to try to figure it out. Some of the translation may be off. But I have houseguests I can’t watch until tomorrow.
