Yeah its like she had to do what she had to do bc she owed Guan Qi first and SMZ got it and when he took the last hit for her I was like - My Hero!!! Ep 16 was IMHO the best so far.

Apparently that is characteristic of the way the writer writes fight scenes, quick cut very fast action but no distinct fight styles or signature moves. It is one reason he is not considered the same level of Jin Yong or Gu Long. I have never read his works but I was just reading some critical reviews of his past works to see if I want to. Heroes is supposed to be his best work.

In most wuxia, the protagonists are rarely the most interesting characters in the story. They are just narrative devices almost.
