It was not meant to be a kiss. It was clearly meant to be a tentative peck or a touch clearly on the cheek. And perfectly reasonable at this stage of their ambigious connection. It is really helpful not to this obsessed with kisses.

This was a spectacularly lame attempt even at strawman argument. This show was full of kisses. You whine that two side characters who only decided to be a couple in the last part of the last episode, up until then they were not even lovers, did not immediately start swallowing each other the moment they decided to start dating.

They just started tentatively dating, it is not unusual for Asians. Not everyone has to kiss just because that is what the rudimentary BL fan is obsessed with singularly.

While entertaining enough, this show requires higher than usual suspension of disbelief.

How could that be so difficult for Sun to track down who Jay is when everyone around him seems to know Jay?

And it is furher undermined by Sun always being called average-faced while he has one of the most uniquely enticing face I have ever seen.

My favourite is when they proudly proclaim they skip the entire episode and then they find the plot does not make sense to them. What a fecking surprise, diddums.

We can firmly state that Sak was a reasonably shit father to both of his sons.

Every time a BL is not strictly about the main leads being lovey-dovey from wall to wall, the fucking one-dimensional toddlers whose brain cannot suck up anything else start whining. I am so sick of this kindergarten.

The problem is not that Sun forgave them but the fact how easily he did. It should have been emphasised and highlighted more that the scars grandfather and Sorn caused to Sun over decades do not magically heal from one apology. They did not even apologise by their own initiative, only because Save and Mas made a scene and they stood up for Sun.

Tbf Love in the Moonlight was extremely slackly written as well. There very plenty of goings on for sure, but it was full of plot holes, illogical action and stupid behaviour, every secret plan was discovered by someone always being there by accident and overhearing it, plus apart from the 3 main leads almost all side characters were either cartoonisly evil or saintly. And the cherry on the top, that show had the most infuriating happy family finale with atrociously undeserved redemption to the most awful characters of Lakorn history.

So everyone's beloved grandpa cares deeply about all his dear kids in the orphanage but treats his own son like dirt, and as we learnt he has been treating Sun like that ever since Sun's childhood - just because he is gay.

And when Sun lets this out of his chest for the first time in his life, after being neglected by his father and his family all his life, Sorn jumps there immediately and without any remorse yells Sun's head off, telling him he cannot speak like that to poor grandpa who was so hurt back then because of Sun's mere existence.

Grandpa and Sorn both can fuck off and when they are there they can fuck off some more.
Sun deserves a real family which this is not for him - except Save.

I have been saying this for a long time - as a European who had plenty of Asian exes - that this 'filial piety" bullshit and the obsession with blood-related family even if it is an abusive cesspit is a cancerous tumour of Asian societies and they should forever bin it to the rubbish tip of history instead of clinging to it as if it was a valueable tradition.

That sounds pretty satisfying indeed. I hope they keep this in the screen version.
