to point out I feel koh is most likely better choice for jirapheem is just too performativehe is only obsessed…
1. None of these people are in a relationship with each other. 2. You didn’t get the point when Jira started to draw Pheem. It was the first time Jira found Pheem exciting, drawing him was to demonstrate that, and Pheem understood that also.
Dhevi was peak viper though, no one saw her inner bitch coming until it reared its head at the last moment. I…
I was randomly writing on my phone so I really mixed that up. She must have known her father had made people killed, since she knew what had happened to Krailert’s lover, and when this scene happened they were years after that.

In probably Episode 2 There is a scene where she’s reading the newspaper article about Krailert being provoked. She then makes a remark ‘ If my father was still around’. That indicated she was fully aware her father eliminating people coming his way and that she was perfectly fine with that.
My comeback, you poor little fuckwit? You came back after god knows how long only to slander, with zero knowledge or argument and expect me to argue with you? I have no times for brainless zealots. You go down my toilet now.
that's a very generous interpretation, and most probably what the show is going to move towards in the next episode…
I am not particuarly generous. No one is more irritated by Asian parenting and especially the way Asian dramas tend to justify and even glamorize it, but in this particular case Kanade's dad does not seem to be a lost cause, nor does he seem to be an abusive father, just a bad-tempered and rigid conservative one who nevertheless seems to be willing to learn and change once his son opens up to him. It does not mean his parenting methods of belittling his crying son as not manly enough and so are to be condoned, but I feel like this is going to be addressed as well.
Actually a lot of people seem to misunderstand Kanade's father. He is clearly pissed because his son always runs away and never stands up to himself. He possibly even suspected his son is gay and he was apparently waiting for him to tell him that himself and even confronting him, standing up to both himself and his love.
It does not mean that the father is not at fault for being demanding, controlling and forcing his ideals and expectations on his son and mentally torturing his son for being a "weakling" all the time, as it seemingly was the case, but Kanade should have confronted him about this long ago instead of just ghosting him. The father apparently was waiting for this confrontation, his son letting everything off his chest, even if it means his son going agains his father.
Do you really think you hurt my feelings? That is sweeter than anything from you so far, thanks for the entertainment. Your DuningKruger act is really a pleasure to behold. Just keep your firm belief that your personal taste is a general consensus against the actual popularity level of dramas. It must be nice there in your bubble.
It is really cute that you apparently think making constant derogatory remarks on my comprehension skills in any way supports your argument or makes me upset. It is funny indeed. The people of MDL, twitter, reddit ot tiktok are taken with not just a pinch of salt, and for a reason. Furthermore editing shows doesn’t mean changing fundamental plot points, essential character arcs and just in general narrative flow. The fact is that all those shows, for all their flaws were generally successful, Only Friends was particularly well received and with decent viewerhip.
That is just your opinion. Out of his recent works I only found two with some flaws, but the same amount of flaws could be found in Revenged Love for instance, people just overlooked them in the heat of its insane hype. If you really think your personal taste and some of the comments of a marginal site in any way equates to a show being successful or not, you need to touch some grass. You can criticize whatever you want, but it doesn’t mean a director with integrity should take lectures from nobodies from a marginal site, and I can grant you, he won’t either. Deal with it.
Jojo has a definitive style of his own and he is pretty good at portraying flawed characters as well as good plots. He certainly doesn’t need lectures from the clueless MDL crowd, and in particular he doesn’t need to copy the dramatics of an enjoyable but vastly overrated show which capitalized on its leading actors but has plenty of cringe moments of its own as well as the tropiest BL fuyoshi plots of the universe. I am quite sure he knows what he wants to do. If you have different needs feel free to watch something else or make your own, whichever.
Cute how they self-censored the subtitle for the international audience… When Trin bumps into Victor on the…
It is airing on Tencent-owned WeTv, so the subbers were probably ordered to overwrite it to please CCP. They always correct subs from Taiwan to Taiwan, China as well.
