I was a bit anxious about a sequel to such a perfection what the show was, but this trailer looks rather promising. That "still using the magic power" looks fairly baffling though, once it was stated he lost it. I wonder how they made that up.

This show has been one of the most popular ones when airing and has had a cult following since, so it certainly does not rely on the rating of butthurt, illiterate, ignorant and pathetic jerks who cannot argue and the only thing they know is repeating the buzzwords they learnt on twitter. Go and piss yourself.

It starts off at a high-pitched level and it stays there, but once you get used to its campy sitcom style it is actually quite funny and sometimes even witty, especially when it comes to the bickering odd couple. It helps a lot to watch the fansubbed version.

The plot was a bit all over the place but it was actually rather charming, with surprisingly good cinematography and a fairly able cast in spite being rookies again.

They insisted on that the Yong Jie raped Xing Si in the hotel room because Xing Si was drunk. Several of us relentlessly argued that it is bullshit, there is consensual drunk sex as well, and that was consensual. Xing Si was drunk but not incapacitated, they had a lucid conversation before they had sex, Yong Jie kept asking whether Xing Si was conscious, whether he knew where he was and whether he knew he was with Yong Jie. They had a mutual love confession, and Xing Si was the one who initiated the sexual act. And the day after Xing Si only freaked out because his societal inhibitions returned and he thought he was the one who took advantage of his "little brother". That is what he was talking about with Li Cheng and Mu Ren when he run home. Those of us who tried to objectively argue for this were repeatedly shouted down as rape apologists.

People could be stiff in their own different ways. Aii is stiff in a way that he feels awkward about his new situation but he is pretty open and upfront to express his emotions. Tupfah on the other hand is physically fairly self-confident on the surface but he has just started to learn how to show emotions (like in the scene 143). Torn has been in love with Tupfah for quite some time, he was clear about that at the beginning. While the other way around Tupfah has just started to discover his own feelings for Torn, not so long ago he was still trying to hit on Ing.

I totally agree with you. One of the finest assets of this series (there are many) that it makes you invested in all 3 couples' stories and all the 6 guys deliver quite well. I have never been able to understand why some just cannot accept that there are stiff characters in the world too and they need to be acted as stiff ones.
