I loved it, but definitely would have preferred a happy ending. I believe it was an open ending so I'm not upset…
What is even more irritating is the trope of the heartless, cruel, control freak Asian mother who is always willing to wreck her son's happiness while claiming it is for his own interests.
Clarification for many things in the first part. More flirting and sweet glances/smirks. We almost, ALMOST got…
It sounds like a bi-curious or awakening gay teenage boy in the middle of discovering his own sexual preferences and still in a bit of denial rather than the "I am only gay for you" trope.
Before having meltdown it is worth listening to the dialogue carefully.
"- It's true, tons of guys flirt with me. But I never play along. Because I'm not attracted to guys. But with you... - What about me? - I'm just playing. Just looking for new experiences".

I’m guessing the answer is yes, but can someone tell me if the YouTube versions differ from the original versions…
Extremely different. The Heypogi version has loads of hot scenes which are all cut from the youtube version. Episode 2 is nearly 7 minutes shorter on youtube.
There are some unnecessarily draggy passages and the puke scene as well as the shared toothbrush usage were gross. But in spite of these, season 2 so far seems to be even an improvement on season 1 (and I liked season 1 a lot). The focus is now more on Bas and Marco - thankfully. Michael and Daniel are stellar actors, the screen literally errupts when they are there.
Although I love Da On, I feel like he needs to do more self-reflection and inner work before he even thinks about…
Tae Kyung is the first person who seems to be interested in what Da On feels. Everyone else just takes advantage of him, and that includes So Hee. That selfish bitch does not even love him, she just set up an agenda to get the coolest guy of the high school for herself, but literally she does not give a fuck about his feelings. And from the latest two episodes it seems Da On has started to realize this about Tae Kyung, and he clearly started to develop feelings for him. That is probably his first time when he wants to please himself and not others.
A bitterweet episode. Painful at times, but understandable. JM has just started to sneak out of his shell, Reb should be more careful. I would like to know more about how JM started to be into guys. He is probably bi or pan, but an affirmation would not be bad.
Wow, I have just realized Miki Koichiro is the director. He made Pornographer, Mood Indigo and The Man Who Defies the World of BL. This chap is excellent. I love his works.
Anime adaptations to live action seldom work. They usually try to ape the same cartoon gestures which just do not work. This one so far has managed to capture the atmosphere without making it seem out of place, and no exaggerated gestures. Promising.

A part of Thailand really looks that luxurious. Especially the inner downtown of Bangkok City, but even the center of Chiang Mai is that posh. The suburban areas are very variable. These chic modern cottages with swimming pool are not unusual even in the suburb, though. The condos are quite modern and well-equipped too.
Shi Lei hiding from Jin Yu Zhen and even locking himself up in the bathroom instead of confronting him is so irritatingly out of character. I hope the writers do not tease us further and we get to know at the beginning what Jin Yu Zhen's backstory is.
For the first time I watched the interview everyone is talking about, and I don't get the outrage. He was clearly…
Actually I could recall I have seen several trains in Thai BLs, usually the ones located in Chiang Mai or the Isaan region or the ones involving school trips. The ones set in Bangkok do not involve trains indeed, because it is not a public transportation asset there.
And so will I, since I have zero interest to engage with someone who seemingly likes to be triggered for nothing and groundlessly labeling others without knowing anything about them. Side note: Be prepared for a shock that the word involved is even used by women for men (at least here in the UK), just saying. Bye.
What did you find "misogynistic" in what I said? Especially since people I talk about are not necessarily women only. I use insults and slurs when I feel it is necessary. I am an impulsive person who sometimes swears, and I do not in tend to change that. Your assumption about misogyny missed the target regardless. If the word c*nt made you think that, it has been quite extensively used for all sexes for a while, particularly in the gay scene.

This is truly an amazing, profound drama that gets better and more complex as it goes.
