I was disappointed when the original mini-series didn't show the manga-ending. Now I have seen the full ending and tears have rolled. I'm happy with it.
Nope, I see it too. But I think the R is there because it contains LGBT+ content which is still not widely accepted…
Yeah I'm really confused about the R-rating as well. Nothing about this drama has been more violent than for example WYEL. I think its really the amount of kidnap-/harm- references the drama makes. Unless they somehow end this all shockingly with for example the body of the mom being found? All speculation though and Im not sure how much more they can do in the leftover time. I suppose we will know very soon.
I feel like they should have filmed everything in black and white except for when Choi Yeon Woo was seeing colour.…
FINALLY someone said it. I would've loved it but yeah as @Nikki says it would've potentially turned away a lot of regular webdrama watchers for looking different. If this was a movie they would've likely done it as it would've been such a cool effect, making the audience experience YWs world with him and the beauty of colours when they finally appear.
Very multicultural movie, that was fun to see. Good thing they released this back in 2016 cause nowadays I'm not sure it would be allowed. Considering the sequel also didn't make it out.

Just saw on Weibo that the OST of Cherry Magic (by Sumika Horiguchi) is officially being sold on the 30th this month. Confirmed it for myself and found it on cdjapan for 2530 yen. So that should include the full Kyun Kyun song, the Kurosawa fantasy choir and others. Just posting in case anyone is interested.
