At least the concubines have the queens back I suppose, the male leads were too busy with their fan competition to properly protect her. The Joseon letter exchanging in the night was cute though. Hwa Jin is getting more annoying as usual, giving the ledger to villain #1. I guess someone had to do it. For those wondering, no Hwa Jin didn't actually shoot the queen. It was just to threaten her.

Considering the king is screaming again in the ep 12 preview I assume there is gonna be some political tension very soon. Meanwhile the queen is just vibing with her potato tornado.

Her pension is very large but it feels lonely secluded in the forest. It would be nice if she had a pet because it feels like she is a bit too alone. I know she receives guests but if there aren't guests it must be very silent.

I guess whats tiring to you is fun to me.
If she didn't say almost everything she was thinking then we would miss out on a lot of jokes. Its also not like the stuff she's giving away in her louder rants was actually important to the plot. Usually its useless information or not understandable to others around her since its modern references.
If you're not gonna have fun with modern vs old dialogues in a drama then might as well not do timetravel plotlines at all. I think you may prefer actual realistic historical stories with no comedy. That's fine and there's plenty of those around too.

According to what I'm seeing in the drama.... Pretty sure she's dead/her soul is trapped somewhere. All the memories the queen has just belong to the body. Its her brain obviously even with a different soul those memories remain.

So I personally think that this is the situation right now.
Queens body: Cooks soul
Queens soul: Trapped/gone into oblivion

Oh yeah! That was a fun short kdrama.

I hope they do, the show deserves more attention.
