Regarding the Japanese LGBT+ community. While there may be some critics of BL as a whole, there are also plenty of LGBT+ Japanese people who embrace (certain forms of) BL.

I saw spoilers on Weibo (Chinese social media site) on a page dedicated to Cherry Magic. I usually visit there and they always update very quickly, so by checking often I found some pictures of it and text describing what happened. I verified it by checking multiple comments.
You can buy it in Chinese or Japanese currently. Not in English yet.

Depends on whether you mind experiencing emotional pain for a longer period of time. Since you'll have to wait for the next episode with English subs for a few more days

There is definitely a stigma to the word BL in Japan if that's what she means by wanting to avoid it. I mean, the word ''rotten woman''/fujoshi didn't just poof into existence. Mainstream Japanese media looks down and often makes fun of the BL genre. Female BL fans are seen on the same level as male anime otakus in terms of their hobby. Which is less than ideal to the general society.
I don't have much else to say about it since I don't read Japanese so I can't properly judge her comments.
