I love Ossans Love (the original show) so I don't mind XD Me predicting that way back was basically an attempt just to mentally prepare some fans here.
I JUST REALISED THIS SERIES DID END EXACTLY THE SAME AS OSSANS LOVE. My prediction was correct :D even to the last minute. I've been saying this since episode 9 that it was likely gonna be Ossans Love level.
Yeah, what they didn't normalize is being a virgin....
If they did focus only on virginity and mindreading the plot would be a lot more boring though. Just Adachi and Tsuge occasionally hearing random people think weird things.
I rewatched the kiss scene in the elevator of episode 12. I saw that Kurosawa is the one to push the ''close the elevator'' button. His arm moves and the doors start closing. He just wants some privacy people. For real though, I don't mind the lack of a clearly shown kiss. At least they clearly showed the love between them with the bed-scene and the scenes after (including the special). Adachi lost his virginity so mission accomplished.
About the couple pens. Yeah we'd all love to see rings but remember that these dudes work in the same room. Getting couple rings would be kinda obvious. And yes its not like the West, in Japan you risk serious harassment if you expose being gay at work. This is just a realistic view of the situation.

Minatos actor has kissed other guys before in his previous acting jobs. Tsuges actor, well he basically made out with another older guy in a special. I'm not surprised they got more kisses in this show as their actors are known to be experienced
Right after the normal episodes I think but not sure where to find it. I'll likely just wait for uploads (mayby from WeTv) to hit Youtube and watch it then
