Isn't it premature to talk about a HEA? Adachi is still wrapping his head around the idea of being in a relationship.…
Yes the subject is first brought up to Adachi by his rude co-worker who tries to coach him into getting in bed with someone. After he gains magic he does consider it once but its not like a major goal of his life to lose his magic. Otherwise we would see his character work towards it more pro-actively, he just adapts to circumstance.
Losing his virginity is not the goal of this series. It's Adachi gaining the confidence to believe in himself and to fight for what he wants.
I used the Pinoy/Thai example because in those series there is often a heavy focus on the sexual relations. I feel like a lot of people from that BL background who watch this as their first Japanese BL will be expecting something different than the actual series intends to deliver. I have watched Thai and Pinoy Bls myself too so I do know the difference between those kinds of series and this one.
Don't worry about a kiss, they'll do that but they likely won't do a bedscene. I am just informing you cause I feel like some people may be planning to give a lower rating based on their perceived lack of intimacy in the series. Unfairly comparing a Japanese BLs standards to a Thai/Pinoy BLs standards while these types of series intend to deliver different experiences.
Kiss between men is NG ???? What is this about? https://twitter.com/RJulie52/status/1333000378804105216?s=20
It just seems like a Japanese Twitter user sharing their view. Not something to be worried about in my opinion. While yes theres technically always a chance they'll skip out on a kiss it'd be a bit weird not to do it when most romance-focussed BLs do at least 1.
Sorry I'm not Japanese but I'll drop my POV here. I didn't know he's being criticized for his acting, I only watch…
I love his acting in CM. I made him my profile picture for a reason. Akaso has done great and really got into the character. I've heard he struggled with starting acting later than others, hoping that this popularity boost is gonna be helpful for him!

Yeah if you're watching this to see Adachi lose his virginity... I am sorry because BLs from Japan won't give you that. Like I can 100% guarantee that. For the majority of us here a happy ending means a stable relationship, not a bedscene. This is a culture shock to some Pinoy/Thai BL watchers as I've seen more comments regarding this but Japanese BLs do things differently.
Every time I come across this drama on Feed now I think its like a special or sequel thing cause the poster/cover changed. I wish we did have that already
Machida has spoken that the ending will be good for viewers. I trust him and besides it would totally be unfitting…
Yeah for those who are still mostly unaware of CM its not something they can make proper judgement about. They don't know the general mood of the drama after all. Other users are traumatized by Chinese BLs and have lost a lot of faith in BL endings in general.
I can with certainty say that I trust the drama makers of this series 100% to not finish things badly.
I can't believe there are ppl who think this drama won't have a HEA. Of course it will! I know there are many…
Machida has spoken that the ending will be good for viewers. I trust him and besides it would totally be unfitting to have a sad ending to such a fluffy drama.
I've read the manga for this one, good luck to new viewers cause things can get very emotional. But yes its one…
Oh I don't read as much manga as I used to. I read almost everything that was releasing in 2015 cause I was bored and just found an easy way to read them online too. This was also when I got bigtime into Manhwa (Korea) and soon after Manhuas (China). Since early 2020 I decided to start getting invested into dramas. So for me everything is quite new as well but luckily I found my way around quite quickly. Thank you for organising again!
Is anyone going to watch Alice in Borderland (Netflix) with Machida? I was thinking about doing a watch party…
I've read the manga for this one, good luck to new viewers cause things can get very emotional. But yes its one of the best survival game mangas out there that I still remember after like 5 years (and I read them ALL back then). I'll watch it
Yeah watching that trailer gave me some major flashbacks to my early mangareading days. I've read this one, its a memorable story and one of the best survival game mangas in my opinion for its more serious tone and showing of human emotions. If things go like the manga I do expect to cry at a specific episode. ''You are a once in a lifetime best friend''.
GUYS Akaso has done a promotional video for his newest released picture book today. Definitely recommend looking at it. He looks adorable in the video and talks about some of the photos they took of him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v411pEy5DeM So I know someone here had a vid list for Cherry Magic, please add this one to it too!
The official twitter says we'll see the scene with cute Adachi in a bowtie soon. It's not a deleted scene.https://twitter.com/tx_cherimaho/status/1332640554161557504?s=19
