I just got a youtube recommended video, and I'm sitting here speechless. Apparently, this isn't the first time…
Yeah I have read manga for a long time. Japan knows how to make the weirdest storylines. One of the best BL examples I know being Patalliro!. For enyone interested in a weird trip, here's the wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patalliro! First BL on Japanese tv though guys.
I fell into the black hole that is this drama. I can't get out. 2020 is an amazing year for Bl with so many gems…
Almost every user says they regret starting early however by being early you get to feel that anticipation for the next episode in full force. Even those feelings can be something to be treasured when the series has finally finished. We get to emotionally process every episode fully and talk about it with others. That's great too ^^
Other BLs: Oh cute they just touched hands in first episode! Cherry Magic: The prophesy of the ending song has been fulfilled, the analysis of the dynamic in that armswing of the episode 8 preview was a succes. We have achieved enlightenment.
Current mood for episode 4: French lady in tanktop at home greenscreening herself onto a luxury reception-background to make it look like she's actually at work while she's likely just watching series on the sofa.
I love how much love CM gets :) I would love to do more of these watch parties for other jdramas as well tbh.…
This definitely is a special case where it works cause we are a dedicated community. Other dramas for example have too little fans for it or users who are hateful of a series and who would likely disturb a watchparty on purpose.
People have probably already spoken about this, but I missed the conversation. At the very beginning of the first…
Yeah that conversation was a while back on here. At first theories were that it could be from the first date as we manga-readers were comparing manga-clothing with the shows clothing. Turned out that didn't happen like we imagined it would. The drama started to become very different from the manga so comparisons became impossible.
Based on what we've learned I think they will keep this for one of the later scenes at least. But it could be episodes 10,11 or 12.
I heavily influence my theory based on the synopsis given of episode 10 in a Japanese magazine which featured Cherry Magic. So episode 10 is supposed to be a date in an amusementpark according to these rumors. Now look at the ending song of Cherry magic, notice the ferrywheel shining in the background?? This is likely a scene from right after their amusementpark date so its episode 10. So these clothes they are wearing, the white jacket of Adachi, is worn in this ending-song. The exact same he wears in the bike-scene of episode 1.
The first scene is supposed to represent the growth of Adachi in comparison to his old self. How he has changed to be determined for the right things. Could it still be a scene from before the date? It could be. Could it be something way later where Adachi has just made an important decision for the final episode? Could also be the case.
