What I understood, from the end of that one episode, where they almost kisses, is that Adachi kinda sees a future…
Thanks for sharing! I actually wholeheartedly agree. I almost forgot about that Fujisaki moment where Adachi was like.. ''Shouldn't I be feeling something more?'' just before the gangster dudes arrived. He can differentiate between friendship and love interest at the very least.

The thing you said about being influenced by others thoughts was something I hadn't considered yet. Adachi lived in his own world for such a long time and all of the sudden he is thrown into the personal lives of others through their thoughts. That has to cause a lot of internal conflict as he knows how everyone can get hurt and just wants people to stay happy but for that he does things he normally wouldn't.

His life is pretty chaotic and while he has learned to listen to others he can't just mindread his own feelings. That is something he has to recognise instead of hearing it as a voice.

Regardless of the signals from Adachi I think Kurosawa was already having low expectations though. The only reason Kurosawa got fed up is because he knew he reached a personal stage where things couldn't be the same anymore. I don't think Kurosawa is angry at the mixed signals as he never expected to get this far.

Adachi's motives confuse the hell outta me, I don't blame Kurosawa for feeling so conflicted that he just had…
Yeah that's one of the postives of a manga in comparison to the drama. In the manga you can see Adachi blushing in the picture which is a much clearer indicator of how he feels. He blushes a lot. To me that's more than friendship-feelings.

So a drama scene where drama-Adachi acts anxious of Kurosawas actions the manga might've shown him blushing in that scene. Its kinda difficult to convey that to the watchers though so we usually just see Adachi as a nervous wreck. I hope next episode will resolve the current problems by just having that answer to the confession.

Most of BL mangakas are female, and I haven't come across any male BL mangaka so far. BL is originally created…
Well.. Patalliro! worked out pretty well. I honestly thought it was written by a female mangaka cause its shoujo filled with bishounen but found out that it was a guy (Mineo Maya).
But yeah the image I usually have of BL mangaka is females like Keiko Takemiya.

Now we can see the vast difference between casting professional actors and inexperienced actors. I cringed at…
Well I'll compare two Japanese drama BL eras to explain. First we did have the young BL movies made by new actors like the Takumi-kun movies in the early 2000s-2010s, these actors did gain popularity from these series.

However, this type of BL died out a while ago in Japan as people moved on. A few years of BL drama drought appeared where there were no releases and finally the new era appeared where movies were made with older actors that already had a career.

Ossans Love was the first big hit in a long time and there were wellknown actors in there. From that point on more BL series and movies have been releasing and often they will have wellknown actors. These actors don't need to use a BL drama/series to get into the acting-industry. While Thai BL actors will be seen as a type of actors seperate from the main acting industry there exists no such category for actors in Japanese BL dramas.

OMG, reading from a comment that "Adachi is trash" because he "gives K hope & then avoids him"... ppl, his character…
As a fellow introvert this is an attack on my character lmao. Give poor Adachi some time, he's not giving Kurosawa false hope. He's giving him a chance which was clearly shown by him feeling bad at the thought of taking advantage of Kurosawa.
If Adachi was evil he'd have just ignored all the thoughts and kept Kurosawa to help him with work but nothing more.
But yeah I guess some people misunderstood their characters intentions to say such stuff?

Not trying to offend anyone but I just noticed something last week and also this week. So basically ITSAY and…
I haven't visited Insta for it but on Twitter the best tag is probably #Cherry Maho cause the #Cherry Magic tag also gets some stuff from other Bls mixed in sometimes.
Weibo is also a place I visit for it and there I just use tags like #到了30岁还是处男似乎会变成魔法师.

I saw Hikari no Naka already said something about professional actors in BL dramas but yeah Japan does cast more wellknown names.

Like Furukawa Yuuki (has done this 2x) and Ryusei Ryo are wellknown actors and don't depend on a BL movie (Restart After Come Back Home) for fame.

I do know that starring in a BL is a boost in fame for most actors though so no doubt there will be that incentive if given the possibility. But while in other Asian countries male actors feel like BL is just a stepping stone into other forms of acting its not seen as such for actors in Japan (as of yet).

Watched a bunch of episodes raw on dailymotion (look for the Japanese name). But not everything is online. If someone finds all episodes in 1 place subbed/raw I'd love to see it!

Somehow episode 7 wasn't uploaded and apparently audience rating went down with that one so I'm curious what happened.
