As for actual scenes that happen in the manga. In the recent chapter they've kissed and in past chapters they've held hands. They already became a couple a while back. While that is no guarantee for the actual show (Cherry Magic manga for example) it does mean that the chance is high in one of the last few episodes we will get that kiss.

I can just refer to past Japanese BLs like Cherry Magic or Zettai BL or Ossans Love for this. They likely won't go further than kissing. So that's gonna be the max thing you can expect. Some of the users here call it a Shoujo BL so mayby you meant if its more of a shoujo (manga for girls) or BL. I think it has found a nice middle way. Its both a great shoujo story (cutesy) and its a BL.
As for Hashimoto, I read the manga and to say that her role is ''just pushing the plot around'' is a bit reductive. She has plenty of her own storyline and wants/needs and I like her character a lot.

Love triangles are ok to me if handled well. If both characters have their own charms I'm all for it. As long as the real final relationship is also given enough attention.
It's a pretty lighthearted drama somehow. They mostly joke around and then when someone dies all of the sudden theres this moodshift for the rest of the episode. It's a bit difficult to take male lead seriously as embalming literally seems to be some kind of superpower for him where he loses bodyheat or something. Also having embalming as a hidden identity is a first I've seen.

I saw you're new so I'll explain but longtime MDL users should be aware of this. New dramas usually receive ratings from the most dedicated/hyped up fans immediately after the first few episodes. A rating from a show that has just started airing is not trustworthy. Its literally rated by less than 200 people at the time I'm writing this comment, that's not a lot at all so the rating is still subject to a lot of change later on.

Not really. Except young actress acting , there is nothing else here. One of Kdrama niche is that power dynamics.
Its a 20 episode long drama. I'm just thankful they took the time to establish a good emotion-filled backstory. Mayby you don't like it but that backstory that was given does add to the story later on.
