8.7 NOW !!!! Let's gooo for 8.8 folks keep rating 10/10, this drama deserves atleast 9 as of now.
For me it is 9 when it is about the leads. About 6.5 when it is about side characters and sub-plots. So, overall, I would give it 7.5-8. For me a really great series has to be engaging on all levels with strong investment in side characters as well (on top of all other things) Based on 25% , I doubt this series will pass 8 for me, but I hope very much to be proven wrong.
Guys what's your expectations from Netflix Hours Viewed for 11 March -17 March week ?? 9 March - 10 March Netflix…
I am not sure hours viewed is a meaningful measure. Look, I really like this series, and I am enjoying it a lot, but its episodes are very long. E4 run time was equal to 2 episodes of those 45 mins. The number of episodes and the length of the series has to be factored for a real measurment.
I liked E4 a lot. I am just not too happy about the development of sub-plots. All these people seemingly from poor background scheming to take down this ubber rich family. Idk..I just don't like either side, and don't care who what happen to them. As a result, I am not very engaged in the sub-plots, ad that is in my opinion the weakest part of the series. But, whenever we focus on the leads story it is great.
With every episode I loving Hae In more and more. This episode showed us that she is not actually a coldhearted…
About worshiping. This could have been a random comment, but it could also be a refrence to another series where kim Ji Won character asks another character (I don't want to call him ML, because the series is more of an ensemble) to worship her.
A disenting voice. I am happy for everyone who enjoyed it and think it is great drama. Unfortunately, I had a differrent experience. The first few episodes were good, but the rest was mediocre to bad. I kept watching because the series had a very good premise, and I was hoping they build and explore that. In my opinion that didn't happen. The mental health was used as some kind of prop instead of genuine examination. The scenes were very repetitive, the plot extremly meandring. The cringe level is up to the sky. Maybe I should have dropped it, but they always had some good 15-20 mins in each episode, that gave me hope. I didn't have problem with acting, but I had a HUGE problem with the writing. I am dropping my plans to watch other dramas by this writer. So, with great saddness I gave it 4.5/10 (In my rating system means: Sporadic moments of enjoyment. Largely, but not entirely, waste of time)
Can married people really become like this!! Not even cuddling ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Yes, I believe it is possible. But, what is not believable is that they look so awkward around each otherin terms of proximity. I mean these two were in love when they married, and they must have been very intimate with each other for sometime before things start to fall apart. To be fair to the drama, they are kissing and doing certain thing that are considered a lot in Kdramas, but still I find it very unbelievable evnethough I like Kdrama for not having explicit scenes.
But, it is a drama lol, and it is fun to watch that sexual tention between these two beautiful people lol.
In E3 we see flashback of them at his hometown. If I am not mistaken (and that is why I am asking) she came to visit him after he found out her true identity. So, the whole thing about I will stand by you even if your family has debt doesn't make sense to me at all. So, the only conclusion is that hey went to his hometown before him finding out her identity, which probably means there was much more time between his cows speech and the helicopter scene. What do you think?
Meh, S1 has barely 4ep material being told repetitive & stretched to 8 ep yet left them unfinished, if they want…
While I disagree with your assesment of the series itself. I thought it was very good, and needed more episodes if anything. The material is enough for longer series.
I agree with you 100% about the rest. If S2 will not have a clear end and wrap up, I am not watching. One of the main reasons about 70% of what I watch is Korean because of the 1 season format. I simply can't take that multi-seasons format anymore (with very few exceptions)
'I'm too stimulated for this hour'Just a nicer way of saying that she's horny
lol I actually immediately remembered Go Mun Young from IOTNBO when I heard (technically read) this line. Howver, Go Mun Young didn't mince her words, and just said that she was horny lol.
I felt this episode little bit weaker considering its run time. But considering the cast it is still very entertaining. It is early days, but so far most of side stories are not that engaging, and it is the actors rather than the story that making me watch.
The leads are great with some awsome moments, but overall it is not top tier level.
The series has all the marks of American produced show.8 episodes only, and an end that leaves the door very wide…
Ok. Thanks. So, we are saying more or less the same thing :) I understand the reasons behind short seasons with open endings, but I hate this model. I make exceptions from time to time, but nowdays anything American produced I ask whether it has an ending before I start watching. I didn't watch The Glory until the second part came out, and when I heard there was a second season for G creature I didn't even bother watching. it. I am also avoiding watching the milking like Squid Game, which clearly ended in S1 for me. So, I am not watching it. I might watch EAW because I feel this is slice of life and there is a room for development, but even that I am not 100%. This one I will watch only if I know the end is very clear.

Forgive me please, but I am not sure I fully understand the second part of your sentence. What I meant is that if the show is fully produced by a Korean network then it will have the typical 16 episodes one season (In the majority of cases). Then Netflix/DisneyPrime etc will just buy the streaming rights. However, if Netflix (or others)authorise a show and they are the ones producing it (even if the talent is Korean) its format resembles the American produced shows. Not always, but many of Netflix Korean shows are short with very wide open/cliffhanger ends.
I'm really confused about Disney's strategy in Korea. Not long ago every employee in the drama department was…

It feels strangely contemporary.
