Exactly. I don't know why everyone was claiming the ML was giving the SFL hope. Yes, maybe at one point when he was trying to get her father's approval for the project, he didn't outright rejected her advances, but she KNEW he was using her and he made it clear he has zero interest in her. She just has no pride and dignity, and won't give up chasing him and that's not on him.
