Agree with you. This was a fun watch. There was no annoying characters. I even like the loud OST. I haven't finished but it was an enjoyable watch up to ep 10.

In the beginning scene, the FL was really badass and slapped a bunch of men. But so disappointed, she was such a damsel for the rest of the drama. It would be nice if they just let her get out of a tough situation without the help of the ML. The ML was badass though. Still it was an enjoyable watch.
Netflix only have up to ep 20. I'll watch the rest when they come out. I'm not doubting QX's love for YT but I just don't like his actions. He has never fought for her or try to be with her. If she was not so persisting and continue to love him regardless, they would not be together.
Even after YQ told him that he was going to confess to YT, and asked him if he's willing to just wish her happiness far away while she gets married and have kids with someone else, that still didn't push him into action and he still tried to run away and avoided her even after she came to seek the truth. I haven't watched ep 21 so don't have the whole story yet but I find him a coward. I might be wrong, but If the issue is about money and he doesn't want to spend his parents money or his cousin, I'm fairly sure he can manage on his own, given that he is a genius and won't be a hardship to get a scholarship and work at the same time. Many students are doing it, supporting themselves through school. Even the ML from Hidden Love was paying off debt and supporting himself through school. The reason better be traumatizing or else I'm not letting him off the hook.
Yes I was mad at her too when she went to HK, I thought it was unnecessary. But at least she made some effort, trying to chase him and I guess I feel more for the trauma she went through, with the sexual harassments and the near rape. Different drama, not trying to justify which is more worthy of being upset.
No I haven't finished. On ep 19. I guess I'm not generous like you. When I think of her writing letters to him for 7 years and not getting any response, and then waiting for him for another 2 years after he lied and disappeared. I just feel really mad on her behalf. I get that he has his trauma and his reasons but I wish she wasn't that understanding. Now she's going to HK to find him. It's like she's making 99% of the effort. I hope the last 4 episodes will change my mind.
sorry @twinty, I'm with Skzfav. I also feel that way after watching up to ep 18. Yintao is way in deeper love with Qiaoxi that she didn't care about her pride or being hurt again. Even her friend was like, you care about his feeling, but who is going to care about yours? I also feel that he is VERY lucky to have her but I can't say the other way around.

I agree with this. She has so many guy friends. He is definitely not just a friend to her. She has always had a crush on him even when they were young. Since they are still in high school and romance is forbidden, why make it harder for yourself. Plan for the future to be together and the only way to do that is be successful so the mother can't control him any longer.
