You're right. Her dad is so spineless and a coward. I think he is worse than the mother. At least she is proactive in what she thinks is right.

Episode 7: isn't she a minor? how is it that a grown adult can claim to be her bf and waiting for her in front of the school and no one calls the cops?

Oh so the chances of a 2nd season is that low huh? I thought it would be high since it seems these vertical dramas only take weeks to film and if 1st season was popular enough, I don't see any reason why they won't make a 2nd season since it was clearly meant to have a 2nd season the way it ended. The half-brother looks like he will be the antagonist.

Ok I take that back. The last few episodes were so dumb. The FL was so unlikeable. She turned him into a broken man just for revenge and the ML turned into a total simp with no pride. That was hard to watch. I would have preferred him being an obsessive psycho like the ML in Bid and Farewell. If that's who you are, own it. I would have respected him more instead of being a useless loser who has no respect for himself anymore.

I enjoyed this one. Once awhile, I think it's nice to indulge in some toxic psycho ML and WLR did a good job here. If he wasn't the ML, he would be the villain. Although his character was super toxic, I sympathized with him and hope he wins in the end. Of course, in real life, we run far far away from characters like him but fantasy...

I just completed this and it was not bad. I kinda enjoyed the cheeziness. This is clearly meant to have a season 2 the way it ended. Let's hope we get it soon.

This one was good. The ML is very sexy and the FL is so pretty. The kisses and intimate scenes were nicely done. It was really enjoyable with audio and sound, and the subtitle was good even with the awful Western names. I hate when they do that, just give them their Chinese names.

I don't think this one has a page yet. This is another version of the girl pretending to be mentally challenged to get away from her family, and get revenge. I think this is one of the better version out of the 5-6 versions.

They are cousins. The ML's father was the late emperor but he didn't want the crown, so it was passed down to his cousin, the current emperor.

I finally finished this. Everyone was saying the last 2 episodes didn't make sense but I thought it makes perfect sense why JBH would chose to go aboard for 4 years because he didn't want YMX to feel guilty because she would blame herself for the cause of everything. Yes, YJC treats YMX really well but JBH did better and he was willing to take the blame and chance YMX moving on in the 4 years.

I have no issue with the last 2 episodes except for production not aging anyone in the 4 years They all look exactly the same even the clothes and hair and makeup.

In all the other dramas with rich privileged kids, they will roll out to school in their Rolls-Royce or Mercedes Benz but in this one, the rich kids ride their bikes to school lol. That's China for you.

I like that the FL is an extrovert and can speak her mind. Usually we have introverted FL who is shy and usually keep to herself.

Not sure why the rating is so low. It was on my watchlist and I was going to remove it based on the rating but the reviews convinced me to give it a try. This is actually a nice drama and the acting is not bad for newbies. Definitely worth the watch!

If the intention was 23 eps, I'm ok with that. What I don't like is when it was supposed to be 28-30 eps but then get cut to 23, that when the drama usually don't flow well.
