Controversial opinion - i actually didn't like it much. It was chaotic, lots of things unexplained, lots of uneccessary…
It's not controversial. The series isn't perfect, and obviously, there are things they could've done better in order to make the show better. I would also point out that production was ambitious and wanted to make something that's different from your typical BL show. They wanted to showcase a lot of things, but seemed to struggle to make it more structured, which is probably why some parts came across as rushed and chaotic.

I liked the mythological theme mixed with reincarnation and set in the modern world, but I wished they could be more organized with the plot. Hopefully, Saint and his team will listen to feedback from fans and viewers and do better in their future projects.

I don't think Tul retired from acting. He just went to study abroad. I believe he got his Masters degree last year? Plus, he's gonna be in The Ocean Eyes with Mew, who's also the executive producer. Based on some of his recent interviews, it doesn't sound like he's leaving the industry anytime soon.

Don't know if there'll be a MaxTul cameo, but I believe Dr. Bun is featured in the novel, so it'll be cool to see him in the series.

It's not uncommon for series to recast an actor or make changes to the cast. Recently, James withdraw from Love Upon A Time to focus on his music career. Plus, we don't know why Maiake dropped out. Maybe he got tired of waiting, or maybe he wanted to focus on his career as a vet. Either ways, I see no reason why he should put his plans on hold for a potential series.

Since you mentioned Big Dragon, I'm gonna go ahead and say production didn't f--- up the series. The novel is almost 90% smut and with a sh**** plot. Sure hope the writers got a huge paycheck because they added a lot of scenes to save the series from becoming an all-time flop.

I wonder why he dropped out like that? I’ve heard in the comments that they’ve only filmed the trailer using…
Based on what he posted on X, it sounded like he has withdrawn from the project for quite some time, but has yet to make an announcement about it (until 3 days ago). As for why he dropped out, it's anyone's guess. Maybe he got tired of waiting on the project, or he wants to focus on his career (either as an artist or as a vet). Either ways, I wish him all the best.

As for the status of the series, if there's any truths to Maiake's IG story, then chances are the project has been put on hold, but whether that's indefinite or not remains to be seen.

Idk but Chalaton letting Tharn go at the end just felt a little off to me. I get that it took Tharn a lot of convincing…
The whole series started to rush at around episode 7-8. It's like they're so eager to cram as much drama into the series that they've neglected the pacing. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Tharn and Phaya reunited, but the events leading to the ending feels choppy to me.

This isn't the first time I've seen Thai dramas lose its appeal because of the pace. I wonder if it's a Thai trait. That they're so afraid of the storyline getting boring that they feel the need to add lots of drama, and they don't care if it disrupts the flow of the show, or if the pace feels like a rollercoaster.

hype hype! but I gotta finish triage first
Triage is awesome. It just so happens that all three books (Manner of Death, Triage and Euthanasia) are set in the same universe, so I wonder if Tan and Dr. Bun will also make a cameo in this series like they did in Triage.

Jaylerr did 3 bls what are you even talking about??
Regardless of whether or not Tor and JJ have done BL dramas in the past, it doesn't change the fact that both are seasoned actors with a versatile resume. Some delulu BL fans really need to wake up and realize that these are just acting roles, and they're just jobs to the actors. The fact that some believe they need to become a CP is just ridiculous.

The problem lies in the fact that an actor who acted in BL is immediately classified as a BL actor, I feel like…
Typecasting exists everywhere, not just in the BL/GL genre. But yeah, I notice it seems more apparent in Asian BL/GL mostly because agencies form CPs to appeal to young fans, which in turn, creates a misconception that BL actors are limited to doing only BL roles, and non-BL actors can't do BL roles. It's ridiculous, but unfortunately, it's a delusion the entertainment industry has created to maximize profits.

It's a bit shame for Eunho and ML's sister, we didn't see them be together even in time jump, yes i know she confessed…
I was also bummed about not seeing Jihyuk's stepmom, but in the series, they made it sound as if he didn't like her given she was his father's mistress, so I guess if she did show up, it would be awkward.

Um, it's not misleading. In fact, it's pretty common. A pilot trailer isn't a confirmation of the series. It's just a demo of a potential series. Sometimes, there's a change in the cast. Other times, the series gets cancelled before it even begins. That's why I usually don't take them seriously until they release an OFFICIAL trailer.

They got Folk and Ben to film the pilot trailer, but the fact that MGY released a casting video shortly afterwards is an indication that those two might not be in the series. Also, looking at the cast, it looks like production wanted to use rookies instead of seasoned actors, as this is the first drama for most of the cast members, with the exception of Tian.

can you tell me what makjang means? i have no clue and a lot of people are saying that after this ep
One way to describe Makjang would be Korean soap opera. It's nothing but over-the-top drama, exaggerated expressions, and the slowest camera pans you'd ever see. Think The Heirs, Penthouse, SKY Castle, or if you want something older, Stairway to Heaven and That Winter, The Wind Blows.

People seem to keep forgetting what kind of drama they're watching. It's a ridiculous story about getting cheated…
It wasn't until Yura shows up that the show starts to head towards the Makjang direction, but before that, the series didn't feel like Makjang to me. While BoA's acting is still questionable (she really isn't fit to be an actress imo), I do like how the show is deviating from both the webtoon and webnovel to create its own storyline. While it's good that they stayed close to the webtoon in the beginning, viewers could find the plot boring and predictable if they keep following it, especially since most of the viewers have likely already read the webtoon.

Just ignore 'em. This isn't the first butthurt user to come here and try to spread negativity and they certainly won't be the last. Perfect Marriage Revenge isn't even shot in the same style as Marry My Husband, yet here they are, trying to drag down MMH simply because PMR was practically a flop. I seriously don't understand what they're thinking. When PMR aired back in 2023, it was competing against Castaway Diva, and they lost by an epic proportion. Yet, instead of heading over to the CD page, they're coming here and finding any excuse they possibly can to make MMH look bad. Talk about being a misguided delulu. *smh

Perfect Marriage Revenge feels like better drama than Marry My Husband in terms of better story, characters, OST…
Perfect Marriage Revenge is a Makjang Kdrama, which is known for their over-the-top plots, dramatic plot twists, and hilariously exaggerated (imo) acting. Think Boys Over Flowers, The Last Empress, and more recently, The Penthouse. Some people find them appealing because of their complex storlines and the intricate relationships and history between the characters. Not to mention, they often have plots that revolve around social injustice, family secrets, and redemption, which many Koreans love. That being said, they can come across as unrealistic and just plain dramatic, without much depth. However, viewers have different opinions on that.

I've watched both, and obviously, they have their good and bad points. However, this is really less about which drama is better, and more about which type of kdrama you prefer. I understand you're just trying to suggest another similar kdrama just in case some viewers feel MMH is lacking in some aspects, but in the future, it would help to be more mindful of how you word your suggestion (good thing that you edited your comment).
