Zenaku no Kuzu I thought was going to be good as adaptation but I just know it'll be nowhere near as good as the manga... The casting choice screams poor, they've gone for pretty pretty over any sort of manga resemblance. The rest of this list just screams shambles. Tokyo Ghoul S looking just as bad as the attempt of an Attack on Titan movie.

I think the reason you see so many romance shows is because in Asia it seems as though a lot of TV drama's are consumed by women, therefore they pander more to what the majority wants. It's the same with anime and boring ecchi stuff, they pander to what people will consume in bulk. Fortunately though they do sometimes make some good stuff. K2 was good and included romance.

The saddest part of this is that not a single thing you listed is specific to kdrama, it can be said of just about anything with different themes.

More romance, more zzzzzzzz

I'm not the biggest fan of dribble comedy, which a lot of this is. Also My Girlfriend's Boyfriend has to be a troll, It's literally tagged with romance.

I have noticed that asian dramas tend to target Romance more, maybe because women make up the majority of viewership. but even so, It'd be nice for this site to do a top 10 thriller, top 10 horror, top 10 anything that doesn't include romance.

Imo these lists are very insulting. Romance is shoved down our throats on this site and it's getting a little annoying.

So as per usual these lists only focus on romantic dramas. You know 1 pet peeve that bothers me as an asian drama fan. When people assume that everyone loves romance when they're 99% of the time, a rehash with a slightly different story. Insanely boring.

While I wouldn't doubt they were, do you actually have any statistics to prove they were successful?

Wouldn't having a VIP and a "contributor" or "Donator" be more efficient? Then you can have people who want to support the monthly payment and those who can give a little whenever they can.

Because you only care when roles are casted by a "white" actor, never the other way around. While this instance is a little different as it's a disney animated becoming live action, you still don't understand what adaptations are.

You're the problem.

Dreadfully boring, cliched to the wall, story had a potential which vanished within about 10 minutes.

Given I've seen up to episode 10, i can surely say this show has been so very disappointing, while I do not care at all who the main character is or the male to female ratio, the story has been boring, the main character himself is just awful and angering, I love Ito Atsushi but this show is just not good.

This was an adaptation, not a remake therefore your constant need to compare this to the japanese version is incredibly silly, they tried something new, something that hadn't been done with the Light character instead of being so generic is just copying every detail of the anime and manga. Personally it's not been done the best, but it's nowhere near as bad as people are trying to make it out to be. Especially those of us who watch asian dramas, movies, anime and so on on a regular basis, we try too hard to compare it to other countries ways of doing things and to be fair that's incredibly wrong.
