I didn't know that the average person doesn't have a brain and instead they decide how much they like something based on other peoples opinions
The movie is obviously going to get a lot of stick because we live in a time were being offended by anything and everything is a thing, people will cry and complain about whitewashing, about the fact despite it being an ADAPTATION that it's not true to the anime or manga.

If any single person decides a movie or TV show is bad because "it got a 4.6/10 on rotten tomatoes" and not based on their own unbiased opinion is in fact a moron.

Loving this so far but really wish the MC would stop being scared of everything.

So in other words you cannot actually give a real valid reason as to why this is bad. It's an ADAPTATION, meaning it's been adapted from the anime/manga. I really wish people would learn to understand the meaning of the word, trying to do a like for like comparison to the anime/manga is stupidity. I understand people will compare it but you really really need to understand that an ADAPTATION doesn't mean it will be like for like, it means the film will be changed and molded into something more fitting with where it's being produced, in this case America. The movie is actually really good, if you had no prior knowledge of the anime it's based on, you'd not be so biased.

Oh look..... yet another boring list composed solely of romance shows, who would have guessed it? Other genres barely exist on this site and it's actually really really obvious that the mass majority have a biased towards romance, I'm not sure if it's because there are more females on this site than men (and don't try to come out and call me a sexist) because it's fact that a large majority of women prefer that genre. Either way it's getting old.

10 for sure, the amount of romance shows use the same generic storyline is unreal.
8 for me is a bigger issue to 9 but only if you use sites like this.
I think the rest is just common prefer-ability than anything else.
Only one I truly disagree on is 2, mainly because it's another case of, if you didn't use a site like this, why would it matter and I think not watching something because no-ones written a review for it is stupid.

Never been moved to tears by a drama before today, I stumbled upon this by complete accident and after the first 5 minutes I was hooked, everything was just so perfect, the acting, the music, the story of 60 year old man just enjoying food and life. First Drama to get a 10 from me. Loved it.

The whole entire storyline with his dad is the worst I've ever seen in a drama, absolutely no way on this planet that he should be forgiven or given any shred of sympathy after what he did. The stupidity of this storyline has actually angered me and that's a first.

I'm also not interested in your warped anger about a drama, not going to argue because it's honestly pathetic. Just learn not to get angry that someone doesn't like something you do.

I've seen you commenting back to other comments where you go off on them for not liking the show. guess what? People are allowed not to like it. You didn't ask why I had the opinion I had, you got mad I didn't like it. Not everyone has to live by your standard of what's good or not.

While it was fine to watch, You can literally skip from episode 3 to 16 and not miss any important storyline plot. Making it so 2 dimensional. Could have been a 2 hour movie to save us the time of wasting other episodes.

I agree totally, for what it could have been, to me it was 99% shouting and or talking. Nothing of real interest happens.

Let's break down the summary shall we: The story of Jong Goo (Atleast they got his name correct).
A handsome genius man (Not once do they mention him being a genius, and why does him being handsome have to be involved? To justify the storyline? I think not).
and Yeo Ri, a woman who is always hurt by seeing her boyfriend together with other girls. (Oh boy aren't you in for potentially the worst plot twist ever, absolutely awful, nothing happens, The title for this should be Acceptance because that's all it's about, it's depressing, it's boring, it's at times poorly acted.)

Save yourself and don't bother watching.

Cliched, Boring for most parts, very overrated on the reviews people have given, I know it's opinion based but not very realistic, too much "i watched it because it was this guys first drama" nonsense.

Another pointless article. This site's articles are getting worse.

#1 - Bromances are usually bad in non comedic shows. This one hasn't had much of a bromance, Picking at straws.
#2 - I agree the characters are good.
#3 - ????
#4 - In a sense it does, But the fact that the main women and the second main male are going to end up together sort of shoots that up the wall, and the fact the main is trying to find his wife is sort of romancish.
#5 - It's a Detective show, I'd be highly confused if there wasn't any of this.
#6 - Subjective opinion. Some don't like it, some do.

I know it's still fairly early into the year and I could be biased. But Chief Kim has by far been the best thing I've seen so far, Would even go as far as saying it's better than anything from last year also. Comedy and Seriousness are perfect to the point where there is no OOT stuff to ruin it while the serious stuff still makes you want to keep watching.
