I just hope I enjoy it and Mun Ka young don't ruin yet another drama for me.....God knows how long i've waited on Lee Jong Suk to comeback. There's something about her acting.....There's not a single drama she's been in that I like
I'm gagging at how good this show is. Like the leads are not my first choice, i kinda prefer them in support roles cause I think they perform the best as such but they're not too shabby here. What I really love is the story here. It's so good! I'm so glad it's not that much romance centered and actually stayed on theme throughout like some other shows. You'll see crime mystery and thriller in the genre but then the whole show would be romance centered. that always annoyed
nothing short of disappointment. Lackluster villians, selfish and self centered female lead, idiotic male lead who can't even balance his duty to his country and pleasing his wife....0 stars!

her mother literally killed(well attempted to) his sister showed no remorse and dry eyedly offer him money in place for his sister life. If that wasn't bad enough her family painted his as the perpretrator being the reason the ceo died. In my opinion and his she deserve it. not because she's bad but because that's the only way he'll be able to get revenge on the mother tenfold.

Her character is a mess. I don’t think it’s a bad storyline but the writer could have done a better job developing…
I get what you're saying but as I said, ML was not given any grace. everbody acted as if he was overreacting when he literally saw his whole family massacre. She should've understood where he was coming from from the very beginning of it all. I'm not saying she should've allowed him to walk over her but for some simple stuff like him honoring his dead parents when he poured the wine on the floor should not have stirred anger in her or him destroying the wall; furthermore she was way too presumptuous going there more than once knowing that her family was the sole reason the wall was built anyways.
Not at all her fault but grudges are passed on through generation. I just thought that she was insensitive (the episodes i watched) and selfish. she wanted to protect her family i get that but I think she first needed to see his pov and put herself in his shoes. as i said he's better than me. The remaining lot of her family woud've been carried out horizontally leaving only her.

I really wanted to watch prisoner of beauty but I honestly couldn't like it. Like the FL didn't give the ML any grace at all and kept making excuses for her grandfather. like i totally get that he might've did what he did to protect his family or whatever but at the same time they formed an alignment. When you do that you're basically calling another country your own and that you guys would hel eachother regardless of whatever situation unfold. and when time came for that Her side broke trust and cause a young boy to lose his entire family. everybody kept asking him to frogive and forget without really understanding or giving him grace as to why he's so angry and want revenge. Like he's better than me cause I would've dugged her dead granpa and mutilate his body out of spite.
and maybe i could've looked pass all this and enjoy it but then they fell inlove so quickly it was unrealistic for me....like wtf fall inlove with their enemy at first glance.....furthermore as a man who is suppose to be smart and known to have one several battle why did he get fooled by that gurl so much? bro i jsut dropped it. I couldn't take it anymore

Be so very serious right now. Ain’t nobody watching/writing no damn revenge drama only for the revenge to be lackluster. Aint nobody said FL needs to stoop to her level and do illegal stuff but legally getting the antagonist to feel half of what she did isn’t hard to do legally either. Going to jail is literally not revenge for the protagonist, going to jail is given but that won’t quench everything else that FL/ML had to endure
