I love you BrightestStar! Good choices! And nice article! And for anyone that doesn't know, "The Foreign Duck" is one of my favorites. It's where my pic comes from.
Great article! Sorry I left you alone to write it by yourself. I'm so bad about being lazy. Let the Eita love spread all around. These are definitely some of the best Jdramas, and Eita is a big reason why they're all so great.
Wow! I started out thinking that maybe this drama just wasn't for me, and ended up loving it! Nojima Shinji, you've done it again! I love this screenwriter! It was a really fun and creative drama. I loved watching the family get attached to the different onii-chans every ep. I loved when they referenced other dramas and also when they break the 4th wall, which was kind of often. I also loved the chemistry between Miko and Toi. They were both the most complex characters and they fit together well. I also liked how Nojima Shinji used the gacha rules to make the show interesting. He always manages to take a simple, yet unique concept, and make it interesting to where you want to know what's going to happen next. And he even makes you interested in the side characters and ties it all together. And his dramas are funny, and they leave you with a great feeling. Ahhh, Nojima Shinji, will you be my onii-chan?
This was really great. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but it's definitely a good drama for 2015. I was tearing up during the play. The first and last episodes were the best. I also really loved the summer training camp episode. The main girl/character was delightful, and I really loved the song choices, especially the legendary love song.
I never watched the anime, but I loved this from the very beginning. It was really fun and touching/sad and happy. It was just an amazing combination of all those elements and it was produced well. And Menma was so moe that it hurt LOL! You could tell that it was rushing through a series worth of material, but I almost kind of liked the rushed pace. It never left a boring moment. haha, I cried a little too.
I thought this song/band the whole time I was watching AnoHana. The lead singer looks just like the male lead from the drama, and the song/video has very similar themes. So funny.
Yay! The Memorandum of Kyoko Okitegami is being subbed by a dependable subber, CandyLemon! But she is subbing two dramas at the same time, so I'm not sure how fast she will be.
They did a good job of explaining how the characters felt and why they did the things they did, and that saved the frustrating parts. If they wouldn't have done that it would have made the drama feel like a train wreck at certain points. Good job writers, you put yourself in the place of the viewers and realized what we were thinking and helped us understand.
Eps 1-5 was pure love. I marathoned those eps. Eps 6-9 had some frustrating parts, but they wove it together nicely and the payoff was pretty good. There were some points where it could have been better, but it was a really fun watch.
