I don’t really know where to start with this drama. I am used to these type of Thai BL dramas having inexperienced actors. So that wasn’t even the part that bugs me most. But incontinuity in the story, the poor editing, the bad sound in many places, all made for an overall unsatisfactory experience. The description of this show is also deceptive. I wish the characters were as engaging as it was made out to be. But they were pretty bland. So many things didn’t make sense with the story. Characters would go back and forth with their decisions without any explanation. This is where I think the poor editing may have played a part. The only reason I give this a 6 rating was the somewhat positive message it gave on love, despite gender. The main character Mork seemed to especially have no problem with loving a guy (except for not wanting to be intimate with him, which was weird...). I think it was more about overcoming family objections.

except for it’s length (which was too long for the storyline to be supported) this was the closest to a kdrama that I have seen in a cdrama. The opening credits and songs were creative and catchy, the humor and premise as well were much like a kdrama. The beginning dream setup did not follow through to the end, unfortunately. It ended up getting bogged down in corporate politics and revenge. which was *yawn*. Especially when the “bad guys” were sooooooo obvious in the beginning. With intense stares and stuttering lies. How could anyone even be fooled?!? They ended up being caricatures up to the end. The romance and cuteness is what saved this drama for me. But it could’ve been half the episodes and less corporate takeover for my satisfaction.

Based on all the good recommendations I really tried to make it through this drama. I got through episode seven and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I have seen the last severed limb that I wan to see. That’s on top of the other hand that was cut off, a guy being burned alive, two men being hanged, a man being buried alive, a woman being shot and then drowned, and this is just to name a few of the violent acts that were shown. And I mean they were really shown with blood and gore, nothing spared. I expected some gangster in my love story, but this was more of a mob story than a love story. The love story itself was not done well at all. I say skip this one unless you like mob stories.

There is a bit of the creepy factor with the 16-18 year old liking a 10 year old. But I will take it as an innocent love that blossomed into more when she was older. What I didn’t like was how the Kong character still flirted with other girls and “almost” slept with a soon to be ex girlfriend m, all while professing he loved the sweet and innocent Kaiwan. Hmm. Methinks his love isn’t as true as he says it is. The other couple (younger man and older woman),l seemed more realistic to me. Though I felt he was way more mature than her. She frustrated me many times! Overall the acting was better than some lakorns I’ve seen. Music was horrible as usual. I liked the story premise and wished they had been a little more realistic on the problems the older man and younger woman faced.

first of all, can Ray Chang get his own drama?? what a sexy man he is! his characters story was More interesting to me then the main leads character. I found that the main female was very cold and unreasonable in many instances. I couldn’t really fully get into the relationship between her and Mike He’s character. I kept thinking that their divorce was a good thing, she didn’t deserve him. like other reviewer‘s have mentioned, the story doesn’t really fut in the traits of each animal to the character like the credits and the original premise imply. Pretty much the animals in the story are only at the beginning as a back ground device really. But I did not find this too distracting to the story, I actually ended up not even thinking about it once I got a few episodes in.

There was too much mind f*#cking going on from the main male lead in the drama. He was always playing head games with the female in the efforts of making her prove her love for him. Even down to a fake wedding! The communication between them was an epic fail. I appreciated the bromance between the three friends so much more. There was 46 episodes of this! It makes me want to give up on Chinese dramas. The writers do not have the talent that you see in korean dramas. The production was good at least. And acting, while melodramatic at times, saved the dumb story line.

This drama started out so promising. I loved the chemistry between the main couple. They were too cute for words for the first six -eight episodes. I loved the interaction and blooming romance. But the drama really went downhill after the halfway point. It turned into a melo melo, and not the cute noona romance I was first sold on. The heroine was so annoying and made one stupid mistake after another. It was like she was trying to sabotage the relationship by episode 12. The ending was just so unsatisfactory, with the last two episodes seriously depressing me. Overall, I liked half the show. Loved the cutie main lead. But would never watch this one again!

I didn’t see the movie, so I had no expectations. I liked the drama just based on the premise. However, the acting could’ve been better. Plus I was disappointed about the lack of follow through for a season 2. I feel like there are things left hanging that a second season could wrap up. Not sure if there’s lack of funding, or interest. It was a typical forbidden love but no explanation as to why Bank went to the US. I wanted to feel their past love more, but they seemed more like....brothers. Lol
