I'm looking forward to this one. It seems like an interesting series. I haven't finished watching The Double yet, so it will be a nice transition I hope :D

Thank you for your review. When I saw the initial trailer I was immediately reminded of GoE8. I was wondering how much of a copy/similar series this would be. I haven't seen any episodes yet, only the trailers.
I have seen Blossoms in Adversity and I like Hu Yi Tian in that one (and I also saw other series of him). BiA felt a bit... cute-ish to me, but he did a good job in that one. I felt like he had grown into more.... mature roles, mature as in showing emotions better, the complexity of the character, etc.
I've also seen other works by Liang Jie. I usually like her works. I won't say love, but at least like - really like.

I felt this one might be a good one as well, but seeing your review up until now and the trailers/highlights thus far, I'm not overly impressed.
I've put it on my watchlist for when I'm in the mood for something ..... else.

I hope we can see the ML & FL in a longform drama together with a happy ending. Perhaps both in a modern day drama and in a fantasy drama?

Can I hope for Xia Guo and Yu Jian to be together in the end? I really like them :)

So.... This ends in a cliffhanger? okaaayyyyy...

The trailer looks like it's going to be a powerful series, but with a (very?) sad ending. I'm not sure yet if I'll be watching this.
