Oh, I just noticed something in Episode 30 that I hadn't noticed before. When they walk to the bus Lin Lin seems quite a bit smaller than MXD!

I think he is indeed JY's stepson. The fact that he calls him his son is very nice :)

If I'm correct that blind date of Jiang Yan already had a son. And then the 3 year time jump at 34:17 (if I'm correct about the timestamp) in episode 30 after the proposal there's a time jump would make sense with JY (adopted?) son being there.

Yea, that was absolutely NOT the best choice! But her own hair probably isn't suitable for all that curly stuff. I know my hair might hold it one day... perhaps not even. I can imagine that would be a problem with filming a series...
